“ Son of man, turn and face Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and her sanctuaries.

『人子啊，你要板着臉向耶路撒冷，滴下話語攻擊它的聖殿和殿院周圍，傳神言攻擊以色列地，

人子歟、爾其面耶路撒冷、向聖所發言、對以色列地而預言、

人子、爾當遙望耶路撒冷、指以色列地之聖所、而言未來事、

人子、爾當面向耶路撒冷、向諸聖所發言、對以色列地傳述預言、

“ Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuary. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, turn your attention to Jerusalem. Preach against the temple. Prophesy against the land of Israel.

“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, face Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel,

“ Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem, and speak prophetically against the sanctuaries and prophesy against the land of Israel;

“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

“ Son of man, turn your face toward Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel,

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop[ thy word] toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

“ Son of man, turn toward Jerusalem and speak out against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel.

“ Son of man, turn and face the south and speak out against it; prophesy against the brushlands of the Negev.

“ Meanwhile, keep staring at the siege of Jerusalem. Lie there with your arm bared and prophesy her destruction.

“ Son of man, turn and face the city of Sidon and prophesy against it.

“ Son of man, turn and face the land of Ammon and prophesy against its people.

Then take an iron griddle and place it between you and the city. Turn toward the city and demonstrate how harsh the siege will be against Jerusalem. This will be a warning to the people of Israel.

And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.

“ Son of man, prophesy to Israel’s mountains. Give them this message: O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord!

Now then, listen to this message from the Lord:“ You say,‘ Don’t prophesy against Israel. Stop preaching against my people.’

The priests and prophets presented their accusations to the officials and the people.“ This man should die!” they said.“ You have heard with your own ears what a traitor he is, for he has prophesied against this city.”Then Jeremiah spoke to the officials and the people in his own defense.“ The Lord sent me to prophesy against this Temple and this city,” he said.“ The Lord gave me every word that I have spoken.

The lying witnesses said,“ This man is always speaking against the holy Temple and against the law of Moses.We have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy the Temple and change the customs Moses handed down to us.”

“ Son of man, turn and face Egypt and prophesy against Pharaoh the king and all the people of Egypt.

“ Don’t say such things,” the people respond.“ Don’t prophesy like that. Such disasters will never come our way!”

“ Son of man, turn and face the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.

“ Son of man, turn and face Gog of the land of Magog, the prince who rules over the nations of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him.

Suppose a prophet full of lies would say to you,“ I’ll preach to you the joys of wine and alcohol!” That’s just the kind of prophet you would like!

Let my teaching fall on you like rain; let my speech settle like dew. Let my words fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants.
