我也任他们遵行不美的律例，谨守不能使人活着的恶规。

我也任他们遵行那无益的律例，随从那不能使人存活的规条。

我也任他们遵行那无益的律例，随从那不能使人存活的规条。

所以，我任由他们效法无用的律例，遵守无法使人活着的规条，

因此，我也把不好的律例和不能借以存活的典章赐给他们；

我也任他們遵行不美的律例，謹守不能使人活着的惡規。

所以，我任由他們效法無用的律例，遵守無法使人活著的規條，

因此，我也把不好的律例和不能藉以存活的典章賜給他們；

因此我也索性給他們不好的律例，給他們不能使人活着的典章；

故我聽其從不善之典章、不能保生之律例、

彼從不善之例、失保生之法、我聽其然、

緣此、我聽其從不善之律例、守不能用以保生之法度、

So I gave them other statutes that were not good and laws through which they could not live;

So I let them follow other rules. Those other rules were not good. I let them have laws they could not live by.

Moreover, I gave them statutes that were not good and rules by which they could not have life,

I gave them over to worthless decrees and regulations that would not lead to life.

I also gave them statutes that were not good and ordinances they could not live by.

I also gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances by which they could not live;

“ Therefore I also gave them up to statutes that were not good, and judgments by which they could not live;

Moreover also I gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances wherein they should not live;

Wherefore I gave them also statutes[ that were] not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

I also gave them decrees which were not good and regulations by which they could not live.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices. (niv)

“‘ As for you, people of Israel, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Go and serve your idols, every one of you! But afterward you will surely listen to me and no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and idols. (niv)

so I also will choose harsh treatment for them and will bring on them what they dread. For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.” (niv)

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (niv)

The Lord will drive you and the king you set over you to a nation unknown to you or your ancestors. There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone. (niv)

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.Although they claimed to be wise, they became foolsand exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen.Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (niv)

“‘ And if the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the Lord have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel.They will bear their guilt— the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him.Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” (niv)

I defiled them through their gifts— the sacrifice of every firstborn— that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the Lord.’ (niv)

The Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the Lord will drive you.There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell. (niv)
