But the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, nor were they careful to follow My ordinances which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; they profaned My Sabbaths. So I resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to use up My anger against them in the wilderness.

可是他们的儿女背叛了我，没有遵行我的律例，也没有谨守实行我的典章（人如果遵行这些律例典章，就必因此活着），亵渎了我的安息日；那时我说我要把我的烈怒倒在他们身上，在旷野向他们发尽我的怒气。

可是他們的兒女背叛了我，沒有遵行我的律例，也沒有謹守實行我的典章（人如果遵行這些律例典章，就必因此活著），褻瀆了我的安息日；那時我說我要把我的烈怒倒在他們身上，在曠野向他們發盡我的怒氣。

但他們的兒女卻叛逆了我，不遵行我的律例，不謹守實行我的典章（就是人若實行，必因此而活着的），反而瀆犯了我的安息日。『我就心裏說我要將我的烈怒傾倒在他們身上，我要在曠野向他們發盡我的忿怒。

惟其子女背我、不循我典章、不從我律例、人若遵行、則緣之得生、且犯我安息日、我則曰、必在曠野傾我怒、盡洩我忿於其身、

子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

乃子孫悖逆我、不遵我之律例、不守我之法度以行之、人若遵行、必由此得生、彼亦犯我之安息日、我言將震怒斯民、發我盛忿、滅之於曠野、我言將震怒斯民發我盛忿滅之於曠野或作我言將在曠野向彼大震我怒傾洩我之盛忿於彼

“‘ But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws, of which I said,“ The person who obeys them will live by them,” and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘ “But their children refused to obey me. They did not follow my rules. They were not careful to keep my laws. The person who obeys them will live by them. They misused my Sabbath days. So I said I would pour out all my great anger on them in the desert.

But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths.“ Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.

“ But their children, too, rebelled against me. They refused to keep my decrees and follow my regulations, even though obedience would have given them life. And they also violated my Sabbath days. So again I threatened to pour out my fury on them in the wilderness.

“‘ But the children rebelled against me. They did not follow my statutes or carefully keep my ordinances— the person who does them will live by them. They also profaned my Sabbaths. So I considered pouring out my wrath on them and exhausting my anger against them in the wilderness.

“ Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments,‘ which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness.

But the children rebelled against me; they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live in them; they profaned my sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which[ if] a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘ But the children rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out( the one who obeys them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘“ But the children rebelled against me. They didn’t walk in my statutes, and didn’t keep my ordinances to do them, which if a man does, he shall live in them. They profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not walk in My statutes and they rejected My ordinances, which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; and they greatly profaned My Sabbaths. Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them in the wilderness, to annihilate them.

But they rebelled against Me and were not willing to listen to Me; they did not throw away, each of them, the detestable things of their eyes, nor did they abandon the idols of Egypt.“ Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to use up My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

For I know your rebellion and your stubbornness; behold, as long as I have been alive with you until today, you have been rebellious against the Lord; how much more, then, after my death?

So the people spoke against God and Moses:“ Why have you brought us up from Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we are disgusted with this miserable food.”

Now I will shortly pour out My wrath on you and expend My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring on you all your abominations.

So I will expend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you,‘ The wall is gone and those who plastered it are gone,

So they provoked Him to anger with their deeds, And a plague broke out among them.Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, And so the plague was brought to a halt.And it was credited to him as righteousness, To all generations forever.They also provoked Him to wrath at the waters of Meribah, So that it went badly for Moses on their account.Because they were rebellious against His Spirit, He spoke rashly with his lips.

And when the Lord sent you from Kadesh barnea, saying,‘ Go up and take possession of the land which I have given you,’ you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God; you neither trusted Him nor listened to His voice.You have been rebellious toward the Lord since the day I knew you.

While Israel remained at Shittim, the people began to commit infidelity with the daughters of Moab.For they invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.So Israel became followers of Baal of Peor, and the Lord was angry with Israel.And the Lord said to Moses,“ Take all the leaders of the people and execute them in broad daylight before the Lord, so that the fierce anger of the Lord may turn away from Israel.”So Moses said to the judges of Israel,“ Each of you kill his men who have become followers of Baal of Peor.”Then behold, one of the sons of Israel came and brought to his relatives a Midianite woman, in the sight of Moses and in the sight of the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, while they were weeping at the entrance of the tent of meeting.When Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from the midst of the congregation and took a spear in his hand,and he went after the man of Israel into the inner room of the tent and pierced both of them, the man of Israel and the woman, through the abdomen. So the plague on the sons of Israel was brought to a halt.

I will pour out My indignation on you; I will blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and I will hand you over to brutal men, craftsmen of destruction.

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels,“ Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”

For a period of about forty years He put up with them in the wilderness.

Since they have abandoned Me and have burned incense to other gods, so that they may provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands, My wrath will be poured out on this place and it will not be quenched.” ’

I gave them My statutes and informed them of My ordinances, which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them.

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for the wrath of the Lord which has poured out on us is great, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord, to act in accordance with everything that is written in this book.”

“ Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt himself and boast against every god and will speak dreadful things against the God of gods; and he will be successful until the indignation is finished, because that which is determined will be done.

The Lord has expended His wrath, He has poured out His fierce anger; And He has kindled a fire in Zion, And it has consumed its foundations.
