“ Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth wide and eat what I am giving you.”

“人子啊，要听我对你所说的话，不要悖逆像那悖逆之家，你要开口吃我所赐给你的。”

“但是你，人子啊，要听我对你说的话，不要像那悖逆之家一样悖逆，要开口吃我所赐给你的。”

“人子啊，你要听我对你说的话，不要像他们那样叛逆，要张开口吃我赐给你的。”

“人子啊！至于你，你要听我对你讲的话。不要叛逆我，像那叛逆的民族一样。张开你的口，把我赐给你的吃下去！”

惟爾人子、聽我所諭爾、爾勿忤逆、若彼忤逆之族、啟口食我所賜爾者、

But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

Son of man, listen to what I tell you. Do not be like those who refuse to obey me. Open your mouth. Eat what I give you.”

“ But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Be not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little scroll. And he* said to me,“ Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”

Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became a joy to me and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Your name, Lord God of armies.

The Lord God has opened My ear, And I was not disobedient, Nor did I turn back.

Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was granted to you through words of prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders.Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.Pay close attention to yourself and to the teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

“ Aaron will be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because you rebelled against My command at the waters of Meribah.

Moreover, He said to me,“ Son of man, take into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and listen closely.

nor yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”So I opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll.And He said to me,“ Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you.” Then I ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.

and Moses and Aaron summoned the assembly in front of the rock. And he said to them,“ Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring water for you out of this rock?”Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank.But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ Since you did not trust in Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, for that reason you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”Those were called the waters of Meribah, because the sons of Israel argued with the Lord, and He proved Himself holy among them.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because you have disobeyed the command of the Lord, and have not kept the commandment which the Lord your God commanded you,but have returned and eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which He said to you,“ You are not to eat bread nor drink water”; your dead body will not come to the grave of your fathers.’ ”
