“人子啊！至于你，虽然荆棘和蒺藜在你周围，你又住在蝎子群中，你不要怕他们，也不要怕他们讲的话。他们原是叛逆的民族，你总不要怕他们讲的话，在他们面前，也不要惊惶。

惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、

And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words, even though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.

“ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

你不要怕他们，因为我与你同在，要拯救你。”这是耶和华的宣告。

他们中最好的，也不过像荆棘，最正直的，也不过是有刺的篱笆。你的守望者所预言的日子，和你被鉴察的时候，已经来到；现在他们必要慌乱不安。

“因此，你要束腰，你要起来，把我吩咐你的一切话，都告诉他们。不要因他们惊惶，不然我就使你在他们面前惊惶。

我已经给你们权柄，去践踏蛇和蝎子，胜过仇敌的一切能力。绝对没有什么能伤害你们了。

“我，我耶和华是安慰你们的；你是谁，竟怕那会死的人，怕那被造如草的世人呢？

因着信，他离开了埃及，不怕王的忿怒；因为他坚定不移，就像看见了人不能看见的神。

就算你们要为义受苦，也是有福的。“不要怕人的恐吓，也不要畏惧。”

因为神所赐给我们的，不是胆怯的灵，而是有能力、仁爱、自律的灵。

有一种人眼目多么高傲，他们的眼睛，长在顶上。有一种人牙如剑，齿如刀，要吞灭地上的困苦人和世人中的贫穷人。

“我的朋友，我告诉你们，那杀身体以后不能再作什么的，不要怕他们。

也要为我祈求，使我传讲的时候，得着当说的话，可以坦然无惧地讲明福音的奥秘，

看哪！我要使你的脸像他们的脸一样坚硬，使你的前额像他们的前额一样坚硬。我要使你的额好像最坚硬的宝石，比火石更硬。他们虽然是叛逆的民族，你却不要怕他们，在他们面前，也不要惊惶。”

耶和华的使者对以利亚说：“你和他下去吧，不要怕他。”于是以利亚起来，和他下山到王那里去了。

邪恶像火一般焚烧，吞灭荆棘蒺藜，连树林中的密丛也烧起火来，它们旋转上腾，成了烟柱。

那些杀身体却不能杀灵魂的，不要怕他们；倒要怕那位能把灵魂和身体都投入地狱里的。

我要使你的舌头贴住上膛，使你变成哑巴，不能作责备他们的人，因为他们是叛逆的民族。但我对你说话的时候，我必开你的口，你就要对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说。’肯听的就让他听，不肯听的，就由他不听吧，因为他们是叛逆的民族。”

什么事都不怕有反对你们的人，这就证明他们要灭亡，你们要得救，这都是出于神。

伯特利的祭司亚玛谢派人向以色列王耶罗波安报告：“阿摩司在以色列家中图谋背叛你，这国家不能容忍他说的话；因为阿摩司这样说：‘耶罗波安必死在刀下，以色列必被掳，离开本国。’”亚玛谢对阿摩司说：“你这个先见，走吧！滚回犹大地去；在那里你可以找食，在那里你可以说预言。但不要再在伯特利说预言，因为这里是王的圣所，是王国的圣殿。”阿摩司回答亚玛谢说：“我原不是先知，也不是先知的门徒；我本是牧人，是修理桑树的，但耶和华选召我，叫我不再跟随羊群；他对我说：‘你去，向我民以色列说预言。’现在你要听耶和华的话；因为你说：‘不要说预言攻击以色列，不要说攻击以撒家的话。’所以，耶和华这样说：‘你妻子必在城中作妓女，你的儿女必倒在刀下；你的土地必被人量度瓜分，你自己必死在不洁之地；以色列必被掳，离开本国。’”

他们看见彼得和约翰的胆量，也知道这两个人是没有学问的平民，就很惊奇；同时认出他们是跟耶稣一伙的，

主啊，他们恐吓我们，现在求你鉴察，也赐你仆人们大有胆量，传讲你的道。

至于我，我却藉着耶和华的灵，满有力量、公平和能力，可以向雅各述说他的过犯，向以色列指出他的罪恶。

四围一切恨恶以色列家的人，必不再向他们作刺人的荆棘、使人痛苦的蒺藜。人就知道我是主耶和华。

他们说：“来吧！我们来设计对付耶利米；因为祭司的律法、智慧人的谋略、先知的话都不会断绝。来吧！我们用舌头攻击他，不理会他的一切话。”

流氓却像荆棘被丢弃，人不敢用手拿它。人要碰它，必须带备铁器和枪杆，他们要在原地被火彻底烧毁。”

彼得和约翰回答：“听从你们过于听从神，在神面前对不对，你们自己说吧！

有蝗虫从烟里出来到了地上；有能力赐给它们，好像地上蝎子的能力一样。有话吩咐它们，不可伤害地上的草，和所有青翠的东西，以及所有的树木，只可伤害那些额上没有神印记的人。蝗虫没有能力杀死他们，只可使他们受痛苦五个月。他们的痛苦就像人给蝎子螫了的痛苦一样。在那些日子，人要求死，却决不得死；切愿要死，死却远离他们。

认识公义，把我的训诲存在心里的人民哪！你们要听我的话。你们不要怕人的辱骂，也不要因人的毁谤而惊惶。

他们都是十分悖逆的人，到处搬弄是非。他们是铜是铁，他们都是败坏的。
