And whether they listen or fail to listen— for they are a rebellious people— they will know that a prophet has been among them.

They might listen, or they might not. After all, they refuse to obey me. But whether they listen or not, they will know that a prophet was among them.

但我對你說話的時候，我必開你的口，你就要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說。’肯聽的就讓他聽，不肯聽的，就由他不聽吧，因為他們是叛逆的民族。”

保羅和巴拿巴卻放膽說：“神的道，先講給你們聽，是應該的。但因為你們棄絕這道，斷定自己不配得永生，所以我們現在就轉向外族人去了。

如果我沒有來，也沒有對他們講過甚麼，他們就沒有罪；但現在他們的罪是無可推諉的了。

到他家裡的時候，要向他們問安；如果這家是配得的，你們的平安就必臨到他們；如果這家不配得，你們的平安仍歸你們。如果有人不接待你們，不聽你們的話，你們離開那一家那一城的時候，就要把腳上的灰塵跺下去。我實在告訴你們，在審判的日子，所多瑪和蛾摩拉所受的，比那城還輕呢。

他們或聽或不聽，你只要把我的話告訴他們，他們原是叛逆的。

因為無論在得救的人或滅亡的人中間，我們都是基督的馨香，是獻給神的。對於滅亡的人，這是死亡的氣味叫人死；對於得救的人，這卻是生命的香氣使人活。這些事誰夠資格作呢？我們不像那許多的人，為了圖利而謬講神的道。相反地，我們講話，是出於真誠，出於神，是在神面前、在基督裡的。

即使有人不信，又有甚麼關係呢？難道他們的不信會使神的信實無效嗎？

如果你警告惡人，叫他離開他所行的，他仍不轉離，他就必因自己的罪孽死亡，你卻救了自己的性命。

無論進哪一城，人若不接待你們，你們就出來到街上，說：‘連你們城裡那黏在我們腳上的塵土，我們也要當著你們擦去。雖然這樣，你們應該知道：神的國臨近了！’我告訴你們，當那日，所多瑪所受的，比那城所受的還輕呢。

他又對我說：“人子啊！我對你說的一切話，你都要留心聽，記在心裡。你去，到被擄的人民那裡，向他們宣講；他們或聽或不聽，你只要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說。’”

如果你警告惡人，他仍不離開他的罪惡和他的惡行，他就必因自己的罪孽死亡，你卻救了自己的性命。
