不管那群叛逆的人听不听，他们都会知道有一位先知在他们当中。

And whether they listen or fail to listen— for they are a rebellious people— they will know that a prophet has been among them.

They might listen, or they might not. After all, they refuse to obey me. But whether they listen or not, they will know that a prophet was among them.

看吧，我所说的必定应验。当一切应验的时候，他们就知道有先知在他们当中。”

但当我对你说话的时候，我必开启你的口，你要向他们宣告，‘主耶和华这样说。’肯听的就让他听，不肯听的就由他不听，因为他们是一群叛逆的人。”

保罗和巴拿巴毫不畏惧地说：“上帝的道本该先传给你们，你们既然拒绝接受，认为自己不配得永生，我们现在就把这道传给外族人。

我如果没有来教导他们，他们就没有罪了，但现在他们的罪无可推诿。

你们进他家的时候，要为他们祝福。如果那家配得福气，你们的祝福必临到他们；如果那家不配蒙福，祝福仍归给你们。如果有人不接待你们，不听你们传的信息，你们离开那家或那城时，就把脚上的尘土跺掉作为对他们的警告。我实在告诉你们，在审判之日，他们所受的痛苦比所多玛和蛾摩拉所受的还大！

他们是叛逆的，不论他们听不听，你都要把我的话告诉他们。

不论是在得救的人当中还是在灭亡的人当中，对上帝来说，我们都是基督的馨香之气。对灭亡的人而言，这香气是叫人死亡的香气；对得救的人来说，这香气却是叫人得生命的香气。谁能担当这样的重任呢？我们并不像许多人为了谋利而出卖上帝的道。我们是上帝差遣的，在上帝面前靠着基督诚诚实实地讲道。

虽然有些人不相信，但那有什么关系呢？难道上帝的信实可靠会因他们的不信而化为无有吗？

如果你警告恶人离开罪恶的行径，他却不听，他必因自己的罪恶而死，他的死与你无关。

但如果哪一个城镇的人不欢迎你们，你们就到街上宣告，‘就连你们城里的尘土粘在我们脚上，我们都要跺掉，但是要知道，上帝的国临近了。’我告诉你们，在审判之日，那城所受的刑罚将比所多玛所受的还重！

祂又说：“人子啊，你要留心听我说的一切话，牢记在心。你要到你那些被掳的同胞那里，不论他们听不听，你都要向他们宣告，‘主耶和华这样说。’”

如果你已经告诫他，他还是不肯离开自己的邪恶和罪行，他必死在罪恶之中，而你必免于罪责。
