因此耶和华的怒气在耶路撒冷和犹大发作，以致将人民从自己面前赶出。

保护你右手所栽的和你为自己所坚固的枝子。这树已经被火焚烧，被刀砍伐；他们因你脸上的怒容就灭亡了。

生出坚固的枝干，可作掌权者的杖。这枝干高举在茂密的枝中，而且它生长高大，枝子繁多，远远可见。

“你当为以色列的王作起哀歌，

邪恶像火焚烧，烧灭荆棘和蒺藜，在稠密的树林中着起来，就成为烟柱，旋转上腾。因万军之耶和华的烈怒，地都烧遍；百姓成为火柴；无人怜爱弟兄。

我是大有忧愁，心里时常伤痛；为我弟兄，我骨肉之亲，就是自己被咒诅，与基督分离，我也愿意。他们是以色列人；那儿子的名分、荣耀、诸约、律法、礼仪、应许都是他们的。

以色列人也必多日独居，无君王，无首领，无祭祀，无柱像，无以弗得，无家中的神像。

尼布甲尼撒曾使他指着神起誓，他却背叛，强项硬心，不归服耶和华以色列的神。

你这受死伤行恶的以色列王啊，罪孽的尽头到了，受报的日子已到。主耶和华如此说：当除掉冠，摘下冕，景况必不再像先前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。我要将这国倾覆，倾覆，而又倾覆；这国也必不再有，直等到那应得的人来到，我就赐给他。”

耶和华的受膏者好比我们鼻中的气，在他们的坑中被捉住；我们曾论到他说：“我们必在他荫下，在列国中存活。”

荆棘回答说：‘你们若诚诚实实地膏我为王，就要投在我的荫下；不然，愿火从荆棘里出来，烧灭黎巴嫩的香柏树。’

他们喊着说：“除掉他！除掉他！钉他在十字架上！”彼拉多说：“我可以把你们的王钉十字架吗？”祭司长回答说：“除了凯撒，我们没有王。”

他们必说：“我们没有王，因为我们不敬畏耶和华。王能为我们做什么呢？”

人必将你的后妃和你的儿女带到迦勒底人那里；你也不得脱离他们的手，必被巴比伦王的手捉住；你也必使这城被火焚烧。’”

圭必不离犹大，杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗来到，万民都必归顺。

因为他们吞了雅各，把他的住处变为荒场。

“到那日，我必建立大卫倒塌的帐幕，堵住其中的破口，把那破坏的建立起来，重新修造，像古时一样，

对南方的树林说，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华如此说：我必使火在你中间着起，烧灭你中间的一切青树和枯树，猛烈的火焰必不熄灭。从南到北，人的脸面都被烧焦。

看哪，已经抛在火中当作柴烧，火既烧了两头，中间也被烧了，还有益于工用吗？

这地许多出产归了列王，就是你因我们的罪所派辖制我们的。他们任意辖制我们的身体和牲畜，我们遭了大难。”
