主永恆主發神諭說：我指着永活的我來起誓：巴王立他做王，他竟藐視了發咒起誓的話，違反了巴王跟他所立的約；因此他一定必死在巴比倫、巴王住的地方。

他轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在立他作王、巴比伦王的京都。

主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比伦，就是巴比伦王所在之处；因为巴比伦王立他为王，他竟轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。

主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比伦，就是巴比伦王所在之处；因为巴比伦王立他为王，他竟轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。

“我凭我的永恒起誓，巴比伦王立他做王，他却弃约背誓，他必死在巴比伦。

我指着我的永生起誓：他藐视了自己所起的誓，背弃了与王所立的约，因此他必死在巴比伦，就是那立他作王的巴比伦王的国家。这是耶和华的宣告。

他輕看向王所起的誓，背棄王與他所立的約。主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在立他作王、巴比倫王的京都。

主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比倫，就是巴比倫王所在之處；因為巴比倫王立他為王，他竟輕看向王所起的誓，背棄王與他所立的約。

「我憑我的永恆起誓，巴比倫王立他做王，他卻棄約背誓，他必死在巴比倫。

我指著我的永生起誓：他藐視了自己所起的誓，背棄了與王所立的約，因此他必死在巴比倫，就是那立他作王的巴比倫王的國家。這是耶和華的宣告。

彼既藐其誓、爽其約、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼必於立之為王者之都、與之同沒於巴比倫、

我耶和華指己而誓、王子既為巴比倫王所立、藐視其主、爽其盟約、則必至巴比倫而沒、

主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、巴比倫王既立彼為王、彼乃輕視誓言、背棄盟約、必死於巴比倫王之都巴比倫、

“‘ As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, he shall die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose treaty he broke.

“‘ Zedekiah will die in Babylon,’ announces the Lord and King.‘ And that is just as sure as I am alive. He will die in the land of King Nebuchadnezzar, who put him on the throne. Zedekiah didn’t keep his promise to Nebuchadnezzar and broke his treaty.

“ As I live, declares the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.

No! For as surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, the king of Israel will die in Babylon, the land of the king who put him in power and whose treaty he disregarded and broke.

“‘ As I live— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke.

As I live,’ declares the Lord God,‘ In the country of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, in Babylon he shall certainly die.

‘ As I live,’ says the Lord God,‘ surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke— with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

“ As I live”— this is the declaration of the Lord God—“ he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke.

[ As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place[ where] the king[ dwelleth] that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake,[ even] with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

“‘ As surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, surely in the city of the king who crowned him, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke– in the middle of Babylon he will die!

“‘ As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh,‘ surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.

我必將我的網撒在他身上，他必在我的網羅中被捉住；我必將他帶到巴比倫、迦勒底人之地；但是那地他是看不見的；他也必死在那裏。

並將西底家的一對眼睛都弄瞎了，然後用銅鍊鎖着他；巴比倫王將他帶到巴比倫去，給下在牢獄裏，直到他死的日子。

他藐視了發咒起誓的話，違犯了盟約；曾經舉手起了誓，還行這一切事，他必不能逃脫。因此主永恆主這麼說：我指着永活的我來起誓，對他所藐視我發咒起誓的話、和他所違犯我立的約、我一定要將這罪還報在他頭上。

主永恆主這麼說：你這藐視所起的誓、違犯了盟約的、我必照你所行的辦你；

人若向永恆主許了願、或是起了誓、用約束的話約束自己，就不可褻瀆自己的話，總要按自己口中所出的一切話而行。

並將西底家的一對眼睛都弄瞎了，然後用銅鍊鎖着他，要將他帶到巴比倫去。

他眼中看匪類當被藐視，但敬畏永恆主的人、他卻尊重；他起了誓，雖自己喫虧、也不更改；

基遍人原來不是以色列人，乃是亞摩利人中剩下來的；以色列人曾經和他們有誓約；掃羅卻對以色列人和猶大人生了妒愛熱情，想法子要擊殺基遍人。大衛王把基遍人召了來，問他們說：

你若不肯讓他們走，你就看吧，我必用青蛙擊壞你的全境。

他對我說：『這是發出的咒詛、行於全地上的：凡偷竊的必按卷上這面的話被清除；凡奉我名起假誓的必按卷上那面的話被清除。永恆主發神諭說：我必使這書卷出去，進入偷竊之人的家、和奉我名起假誓之人的家；這書卷必留在他家中去消滅它，連木料帶石頭都滅盡。』

猶大王西底家必不能逃脫迦勒底人的手，他一定被交在巴比倫王手中；必口對口彼此說話，眼對眼彼此相看；巴比倫王必將西底家帶到巴比倫，西底家必在那裏，直到我眷顧他的時候，永恆主發神諭說：你們雖跟迦勒底人爭戰，卻必不得順利。」你為甚麼這樣說呢？』

巴比倫王立了約雅斤的叔叔瑪探雅接替約雅斤作王，又給瑪探雅改名叫西底家。

我們要這樣處置他們，容他們活着，免得有上帝的震怒因我們向他們起的誓、而臨到我們身上。』

『不可妄稱永恆主你的上帝的名，因為妄稱永恆主名的、永恆主必不以他為無罪。

他從以色列王家後裔中取了一人，叫他發咒起誓、而跟他立約，巴王將國中有勢力的人擄去，

良知蒙昧的、不守約的、無親情的、不憐恤人的。

嘿，講空話，起假誓，立盟約！莫怪司法如毒草、發生於田間的犂溝中呀！

無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能節制、蠻橫兇暴、不愛良善、

你、必不能逃脫他的手，你一定要被捉住，交在他手中；你必眼對眼地親眼見到巴比倫王；他必口對口地跟你說話；你必到巴比倫去。」但猶大王西底家啊，你還要聽永恆主的話哦！論到你、永恆主是這麼說：你必不會死於刀下。你必安安然然而死。人怎樣為你列祖、你以前的先王、焚燒香料，人也必怎樣為你焚燒香料，為你舉哀說：「哀呀，主上啊！」因為永恆主發神諭說：這話我已經說了。』

為嫖妓或作男倡的、為親男色的、為拐賣人口的、為撒謊的、為起假誓的、又是為了任何別樣敵對健全之教義而立的。

萬軍之永恆主說：『我必走近你們來行審判；我必做個敏捷果決的見證、來警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、在工價上欺壓雇工人的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、屈枉寄居的；而他們竟不畏懼我。

看哪，葡萄樹固然是被移植了，然而哪能發旺呢？東風一擊打它，它哪能不全然枯乾呢？它必定在它寄生的苗床上枯乾掉的。』
