他將以色列地的種子種在適於撒種的地裏，在多水之地旁邊，栽它如柳樹；

（這是在耶哥尼雅王、和太后、太監，跟猶大耶路撒冷的首領、以及工匠鐵匠都從耶路撒冷出降了以後。）

約西亞的兒子西底家做王，是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒在猶大地所立，以代替約雅敬的兒子哥尼雅的。

雖然他們起誓說：「願永活的永恆主」為證，其實他們是起假誓的。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒使猶大王約雅敬的兒子耶哥尼雅和猶大的首領跟匠人、鐵匠、從耶路撒冷流亡去，給帶到巴比倫：這事以後，永恆主給我看個異象：看哪，有兩筐無花果，放在永恆主的殿堂前。
