“你要对那叛逆的民族说：‘你们不知道这些事是什么意思吗？’你要告诉他们：‘看哪！巴比伦王曾到耶路撒冷来，把其中的王和众领袖掳去，带他们到巴比伦那里去。

「你對那悖逆之家說：你們不知道這些事是甚麼意思嗎？你要告訴他們說，巴比倫王曾到耶路撒冷，將其中的君王和首領帶到巴比倫自己那裏去。

『你要對叛逆之家說：你們不知道這些事是甚麼意思麼？你要告訴他們說：看哪，巴比倫王曾經來到耶路撒冷，將其中的王和首領帶到巴比倫自己那裏。

謂悖逆之家云、斯事之旨、爾不知之乎、宜告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其君王牧伯、攜至巴比倫、

當告違逆之族、云、爾知是乎、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其王公牧伯、至於巴比倫、

當告悖逆之族曰、爾曹知是乎、可告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、將其王與牧伯遷至巴比倫、

“ Say to this rebellious people,‘ Do you not know what these things mean?’ Say to them:‘ The king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and carried off her king and her nobles, bringing them back with him to Babylon.

“ These people refuse to obey me. Ask them,‘ Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ Nebuchadnezzar went to Jerusalem. He was the king of Babylon. He carried off King Jehoiachin and the nobles. He brought them back with him to the city of Babylon.

“ Say now to the rebellious house, Do you not know what these things mean? Tell them, behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took her king and her princes and brought them to him to Babylon.

“ Say to these rebels of Israel: Don’t you understand the meaning of this riddle of the eagles? The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took away her king and princes, and brought them to Babylon.

“ Now say to that rebellious house,‘ Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon.

“ Say now to the rebellious house,‘ Do you not know what these things mean?’ Say,‘ Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and leaders, and brought them to him in Babylon.

“ Say now to the rebellious house:‘ Do you not know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ Indeed the king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and took its king and princes, and led them with him to Babylon.

Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon.

“ Now say to that rebellious house: Don’t you know what these things mean? Tell them: The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon.

“ Say now to the rebellious house,‘ Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took its king, and its princes, and brought them to him to Babylon.

那是約雅斤王被擄第五年的四月五日，

告訴他們，主耶和華說，『有一隻大鷹翅膀寬大，羽毛豐滿，色彩繽紛。這隻鷹飛到黎巴嫩的香柏樹上，折去樹梢，

我要使你的額比火石更硬，如同金剛石。他們雖然是一群叛逆的人，你不要害怕，也不要因為他們的臉色而驚慌。」

耶穌說：「你們還不明白嗎？豈不知入口的東西都是進到肚子裡，然後排泄到廁所裡嗎？

「人子啊，我派你去那背叛我的以色列人那裡。他們和他們的祖先至今仍背叛我。我派你到那些頑固不化的人那裡，向他們宣告，『主耶和華這樣說。』不管那群叛逆的人聽不聽，他們都會知道有一位先知在他們當中。

我說你們要提防法利賽人和撒都該人的酵，指的不是餅，你們怎麼不明白呢？」

你們明白這些事了嗎？」他們回答說：「我們明白了。」

你的子孫當中必有人被擄去，在巴比倫王的宮中做太監。』」

耶和華說：「猶大王約雅敬的兒子哥尼雅啊，我憑我的永恆起誓，即使你是我右手上蓋章的戒指，我也要把你摘下來，交給那些想殺你的人，交給你所懼怕的人，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒和他的迦勒底軍隊。我要把你和你母親趕到異鄉，那裡不是你們的出生之地，卻是葬身之處。你們渴望回到故鄉，卻不能如願以償。」難道哥尼雅是個被人鄙視、無人理睬的破瓶子嗎？為什麼他和他的子孫被趕到陌生之地？

耶穌又對他們說：「你們不明白這個比喻，又怎能明白其他比喻呢？

但門徒不明白這句話的意思，因為還沒有向他們顯明，他們聽不懂，又不敢追問耶穌。

這些石頭要在你們中間作記號。以後，倘若你們的子孫問你們，『這些石頭是什麼意思？』

「人子啊，那些叛逆的以色列人不是問你在做什麽嗎？你要對他們說，『主耶和華說，這是關於耶路撒冷的首領和城中以色列人的預兆。』你要說，『我就是給你們的預兆，我所做的必發生在你們身上，你們必被擄流亡。』

猶大王約雅斤被擄後第三十七年，即巴比倫王以未·米羅達元年十二月二十五日，巴比倫王恩待約雅斤，釋放了他，並好言相待，使他的地位高過被擄到巴比倫的其他各王。約雅斤脫去了囚服，終生與巴比倫王一起吃飯。在他有生之年，巴比倫王供應他每天的需用，直到他去世。

約雅斤十八歲登基，在耶路撒冷執政三個月零十天。他做耶和華視為惡的事。那年春天，尼布甲尼撒王派人把他和耶和華殿裡的貴重器皿一同帶到巴比倫。尼布甲尼撒另立約雅斤的叔叔西底迦做猶大和耶路撒冷的王。

「人子啊，你要聽我對你說的話，不要像他們那樣叛逆，要張開口吃我賜給你的。」

諸天啊，請聽！大地啊，要側耳聽！耶和華說：「我把孩子撫育成人，他們竟然背叛我。

腓利跑上前，聽見太監在誦讀以賽亞先知的書，就問：「你明白所讀的經文嗎？」

那時，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒派將領圍攻耶路撒冷。圍城期間，尼布甲尼撒親自來到耶路撒冷。猶大王約雅斤及其母親、臣僕和文官武將向尼布甲尼撒投降。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒在他執政第八年俘虜了約雅斤，拿走了耶和華殿裡和王宮裡的寶物，以及所羅門王為耶和華的殿所造的金器，正如耶和華所言。他又擄走住在耶路撒冷的所有將領、勇士、工匠和鐵匠共一萬人，只留下了境內最貧窮的人。他把約雅斤及其母親、妃嬪、臣僕和國中政要從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫。此外被擄的還有能征善戰的勇士七千人，工匠和鐵匠一千人。

並對以色列人說：「以後，你們的子孫問你們這堆石頭是什麼意思，

「將來你們的子孫會問，『我們的上帝耶和華給你們頒佈這些法度、律例和典章是什麼意思？』

你們的兒女問你們守這節期的意義時，
