“‘后来我又从你旁边经过，见你正值少女怀春，我便用衣襟遮盖你的身体，向你起誓，与你定下婚约，你便属于我。这是主耶和华说的。

“‘ Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

“‘ “Later, I was passing by again. I looked at you. I saw that you were old enough for love. So I married you and took good care of you. I covered your naked body. I made a firm promise to you. I entered into a covenant with you. And you became mine,” announces the Lord and King.

“ When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine.

And when I passed by again, I saw that you were old enough for love. So I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declared my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

“‘ Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of my garment over you and covered your nakedness. I pledged myself to you, entered into a covenant with you— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— and you became mine.

“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

“ When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Jehovah, and thou becamest mine.

“‘“ Now when I passed by you, and looked at you, behold, your time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over you, and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore to you, and entered into a covenant with you,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ and you became mine.

‘我怎样对付埃及人，你们都看见了，我好像鹰一样把你们背在翅膀上带到我这里。现在，倘若你们认真听从我的话，遵守我的约，就必在万民中做我的子民，因为普天下都是我的。你们要归于我，作祭司之国、圣洁之邦。这些话你要告诉以色列人。’”摩西召集以色列的长老，把耶和华对他的一切吩咐都转告他们。百姓都齐声回答说：“凡耶和华所吩咐的，我们都愿意遵从。”摩西便把他们的话回报耶和华。

因为你们属于你们的上帝耶和华，是圣洁的民族，祂从天下万族中拣选了你们做祂的子民——祂宝贵的产业。“耶和华喜爱你们、拣选你们，不是因为你们的人口比别的民族多——其实你们在万族中是最小的——而是因为祂爱你们，遵守祂向你们祖先所起的誓。因此，祂用大能的手把你们从受奴役的地方领出来，从埃及王法老手中救赎了你们。

但基督却在我们还做罪人的时候为我们死！上帝的爱就这样显明了。

求你顾念你的仆人亚伯拉罕、以撒和以色列，你曾凭自己向他们起誓说，‘我必使你们的后代像天上的星星那么多。我应许给你们后代的这整片土地，我必赐给他们作永远的产业。’”

因为你们的上帝耶和华充满怜悯，祂不会抛弃你们，灭绝你们，也不会忘记祂与你们祖先所立的誓约。

“‘我从你旁边经过，见你在血泊中挣扎，便对血泊中的你说，活下去！

耶和华不会丢弃祂的子民，使自己的大名受损，祂乐意使你们做祂的子民。

你要告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，‘我拣选以色列那日，曾向雅各家的后裔起誓，又在埃及向他们显现，告诉他们我是他们的上帝耶和华。那日我向他们起誓，要带领他们离开埃及，到我为他们预备的奶蜜之乡，世上最佳美的地方。

耶和华又指示摩西说：“你和亚伦、拿答、亚比户及以色列的七十位长老上我这里来，远远地敬拜我。只有你可以靠近我，其他人，包括全体百姓，都不得走近。”摩西下山把耶和华的话和法令都告诉百姓，百姓齐声回答：“我们愿意遵行耶和华的一切吩咐。”摩西把耶和华的这些话记录下来。第二天清晨，摩西在山脚筑了一座坛，立了十二根柱子代表以色列的十二支派。他又吩咐以色列的青年去给耶和华献燔祭，又献上公牛作平安祭。摩西把祭牲的血一半放在盆里，一半洒在坛上。他又把约书念给百姓听，百姓听了都说：“我们愿意遵行耶和华的一切吩咐，我们愿意顺服。”摩西便把盆中的血洒在百姓身上，说：“这是立约的血，是耶和华按所说的话与你们立约的凭据。”

耶和华说：“以色列年幼时，我就爱他，视他为儿子，把他从埃及召出来。

“然而，以色列啊，你是我的仆人；雅各啊，你是我拣选的，是我朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔。我把你从地极带来，从遥远的角落召来。我对你说，‘你是我的仆人，我拣选了你，没有丢弃你。

因耶和华为我们所做的一切，我要述说祂的慈爱和祂可歌可颂的作为，述说祂本着怜悯和大爱赐给以色列人的厚恩。祂说：“他们的确是我的子民，不会背叛我。”因此，祂做他们的救主。祂苦他们所苦，亲自拯救他们。祂本着慈爱和怜悯救赎了他们，自古以来一直扶持、照顾他们。

那时，我要跟田间的走兽、空中的飞鸟及地上的爬虫立约，使它们不再伤害你。我要在你境内毁灭战弓和刀剑，止息战事，使你安居乐业。我要聘你永远做我的妻，以仁义、正直、慈爱、怜悯聘你。我要以信实聘你为妻，这样你必认识耶和华。”

从前，耶和华向以色列显现，说：“我以永远不变的爱爱你，我以慈爱吸引你到我身边。

这约不同于我与他们祖先所立的约，就是我牵着他们祖先的手领他们离开埃及时所立的。虽然我是他们的丈夫，他们却违背了我的约。这是耶和华说的。”

后来，利百加和我们的先祖以撒结婚，怀了双胞胎。在这对孩子还未出生，还没有显出谁善谁恶之前，上帝为了显明自己拣选人并不是按人的行为，而是按祂自己的旨意，便对利百加说：“将来大的要服侍小的。”正如圣经上说：“我爱雅各，厌恶以扫。”

耶和华说：“我曾爱你们。”你们却说：“你在何事上爱我们呢？”耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？但我却爱雅各，
