I will scatter to the winds all those around him— his staff and all his troops— and I will pursue them with drawn sword.

围城期满后，你要把三分之一的须发焚烧在城中，三分之一在城的四周用刀砍断，三分之一要扬在风中吹散，因为我要拔刀追杀他们。

城被攻破，城里的所有士兵便在夜间穿过御花园，从两城墙中间的门逃往亚拉巴。当时迦勒底人仍四面包围着城。迦勒底军队追赶西底迦，在耶利哥平原追上了他，他的军队都四散而逃。

他所有的精兵都要丧身刀下，余下的也要四散逃窜。这样，你们就知道这是我耶和华说的。

倘若我使刀剑临到那里，毁灭人和牲畜，

“主耶和华说，‘我要把战祸、饥荒、猛兽和瘟疫这四大刑罚降在耶路撒冷，毁灭人和牲畜。

因此，你们要清楚知道，你们如果决意去埃及住，必死于战争、饥荒和瘟疫。”

你们所害怕的战争和饥荒必紧紧地跟着你们。你们必死在埃及。

我要把你们驱散到各国，还要拔刀追杀你们。你们的土地将荒废，城邑将沦为废墟。

在你们中间，父亲要吃自己的儿子，儿子要吃自己的父亲。我必惩罚你们，把你们余下的人分散到各地各方。”主耶和华说：“因为你们用一切可憎的偶像和恶行玷污我的圣所，我凭我的永恒起誓，我必毫不留情地铲除你们。你们三分之一的人要死于饥荒瘟疫，三分之一的人要死于刀下，我必把其余的三分之一分散到各地各方，并拔刀追杀他们。
