當告之曰、主耶和華云、此預兆、乃指耶路撒冷之君、及其中之以色列全家、

爾當以我耶和華之命告之曰、此乃耶路撒冷之君、及以色列全家、將來之兆。

爾當告之曰、主天主如是云、此若預言、預示耶路撒冷之君、及其中以色列全族、將來所遇之事、

“ Say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: This prophecy concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the Israelites who are there.’

“ Tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ This prophecy is about Zedekiah, the prince in Jerusalem. It is also about all the Israelites who still live there.” ’

Say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God: This oracle concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are in it.’

Say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: These actions contain a message for King Zedekiah in Jerusalem and for all the people of Israel.’

Say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: This pronouncement concerns the prince in Jerusalem and the whole house of Israel living there.’

Say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ This pronouncement concerns the prince in Jerusalem as well as all the house of Israel who are in it.” ’

Say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are among them.”’

Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are.

Say to them: This is what the Lord God says: This oracle is about the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are living there.

Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden[ concerneth] the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that[ are] among them.

Say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: The prince will raise this burden in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel within it.’

“ Say to them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are.”’

耶戶對將領畢甲說：「你去把他丟在耶斯列人拿伯的田裡。還記得嗎？你我一起駕車跟隨他父親亞哈的時候，耶和華曾預言亞哈的事說，

以下是亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞得到有關巴比倫的預言：

你這邪惡敗壞的以色列首領啊！你的結局到了，審判你的日子來了。』主耶和華說，『取下你的頭巾，摘下你的冠冕吧，時局轉變了。要提拔卑微的，貶抑高貴的。毀滅，毀滅，我要毀滅這國，使它蕩然無存，直到那應得的人來到後，這國才能得到重建，我要把這國交給他。』

並從猶大王室中選出一人與他立約，要他效忠。巴比倫王擄去猶大國的重臣，使猶大國臣服於他，無法圖強，只能遵守盟約，以求生存。後來，猶大王背叛了巴比倫王，派使者到埃及請求支援軍隊馬匹。他能成功嗎？他這樣做怎能逃脫懲罰呢？他這樣背約怎能逃脫懲罰呢？「我憑我的永恆起誓，巴比倫王立他做王，他卻棄約背誓，他必死在巴比倫。敵人築起圍攻的土壘和高臺大肆殺戮的時候，法老雖然兵強馬壯，人多勢眾，仍無法幫他抗敵。他起誓降服，卻棄約背誓，所以絕不能逃避後果。因此，主耶和華說，『我憑我的永恆起誓，他既藐視與我所立的誓言，背棄與我所定的約，我必懲罰他。我要撒開網羅抓住他，把他帶到巴比倫，審判他對我不忠的罪。他所有的精兵都要喪身刀下，餘下的也要四散逃竄。這樣，你們就知道這是我耶和華說的。

以下是耶和華藉瑪拉基對以色列人的宣告。

至於那些壞得不能吃的無花果，耶和華這樣說，『猶大王西底迦及其官員，以及留在耶路撒冷和埃及的人在我眼中就像壞得不能吃的無花果。我必丟棄他們，

君王必悲哀，首領必驚恐，百姓的手都必顫抖。我必按他們的惡行對付他們，使他們受到應得的審判。這樣，他們就知道我是耶和華。」

然後，我要把猶大王西底迦及其臣僕以及城中逃過瘟疫、戰爭和饑荒的人都交給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒等仇敵，使他們落在想殺滅他們的人手中。巴比倫王必殘酷無情地殺戮他們。這是耶和華說的。』

亞哈斯王駕崩那年，我得到以下預言：

但如果你不出去向巴比倫王的將領投降，這城必落在迦勒底人手裡，被付之一炬，你也逃不掉。』」
