因此主永恆主這麼說：你們刺死的人、就是你們所放在城中的、他們乃是肉，這城呢、乃是鍋；你們呢、卻要從城中被帶出。

故主耶和華曰、爾於斯邑、所陳之尸為肉、斯邑為鼎、惟爾被攜而出焉、

故我耶告華曰、爾既殺人、其尸若肉、斯邑若鼎、惟我逐爾於外。

故主天主如是云、爾於邑中所殺者、其屍若肉、斯邑若釜、惟爾曹我必逐出其中、

“ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.

“ So the Lord and King says,‘ The bodies you have thrown there are the meat. And the city is the cooking pot. But I will drive you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: This city is an iron pot all right, but the pieces of meat are the victims of your injustice. As for you, I will soon drag you from this pot.

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will take you out of it.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this city is the caldron; but I shall bring you out of the midst of it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will remove you from it.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they[ are] the flesh, and this[ city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Therefore, this is what the sovereign LORD says:‘ The corpses you have dumped in the midst of the city are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot, but I will take you out of it.

“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.

你要向這叛逆的民族設比喻，對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：把鍋放在火上，放好了，就把水倒在鍋裡；把肉塊，就是所有肥美的肉塊，腿肉和肩肉，都放進鍋裡；用上好的骨頭把鍋裝滿。要選用羊群中最好的，把柴堆放在鍋底下，使鍋沸騰，把骨頭煮在鍋中。“‘因此，主耶和華這樣說：流人血的城，就是長鏽的鍋，有禍了！它的鏽未曾除掉，要把鍋裡的東西一塊一塊取出來，不必為它們抽籤。因為她所流的血還在城中；她把血潑在光滑的磐石上，不是倒在地上，被塵土掩蓋。我為了發烈怒，好施行報應，就把她的血倒在光滑的磐石上，以致不得掩蓋。因此，主耶和華這樣說：流人血的城，有禍了！我也必把柴堆加大。你要多加柴枝，點上火，混和香料，把肉煮爛，使骨頭燒焦；然後把空鍋放在炭火上，使鍋燒熱，使銅燒紅，使其中的污穢熔化，使它的鏽得以除淨。這鍋真叫人疲累！它厚厚的鏽總沒法除掉，就是用火也不能除掉。你的污穢就是淫蕩。我想要潔淨你，你卻不願意潔淨，所以你的污穢再不能得到潔淨，直等到我向你發的烈怒止息。

然而，你們恨惡良善，喜愛邪惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉。你們吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打斷他們的骨頭，切成像鍋裡的塊，像釜中的肉塊。

護衛長拿住祭司長西萊雅、副祭司長西番亞和三個守門的；又從城裡拿住一個管理軍兵的官長，並且在城裡搜獲常見王面的五個人，和一個負責召募當地人民的軍長書記，又在城中搜獲六十個當地的人民。護衛長尼布撒拉旦把他們拿住，帶到利比拉巴比倫王那裡。巴比倫王擊殺他們，在哈馬地的利比拉把他們處死。這樣，猶大人被擄，離開了他們的國土。至於在猶大地剩下來的人民，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒留下來的，巴比倫王委派沙番的孫子、亞希甘的兒子基大利管理他們。

護衛長拿住祭司長西萊雅、副祭司長西番亞和三個守門的；又從城裡拿住一個管理軍兵的官長，並且在城裡搜獲常見王面的七個人，和一個負責召募當地人民的軍長書記，又在城中搜獲六十個當地的人民。護衛長尼布撒拉旦把他們拿住，帶到利比拉巴比倫王那裡。巴比倫王擊打他們，在哈馬地的利比拉把他們處死。這樣，猶大人被擄，離開了他們的國土。

我要使你的額好像最堅硬的寶石，比火石更硬。他們雖然是叛逆的民族，你卻不要怕他們，在他們面前，也不要驚惶。”他又對我說：“人子啊！我對你說的一切話，你都要留心聽，記在心裡。你去，到被擄的人民那裡，向他們宣講；他們或聽或不聽，你只要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說。’”
