故此主永恆主發神諭說：我指着永活的我來起誓，你既用你一切可憎之像和你一切可厭惡的事來污瀆我的聖所，我就一定要將你剪除；我眼必不顧惜你，我必不可憐你。

他們必不再因他們的偶像和可憎之像以及任何罪過、來玷污自己；我卻要拯救他們脫離他們的背道、就是他們藉以犯罪於其中的；我必潔淨他們；這樣、他們就可以做我的子民，我就要做他們的上帝。

他們把它的妝飾之華美變成了狂傲的因由，又用它去製造可憎可厭惡的形像，因此我使他們看它為污穢之物。

正教督我們棄絕不虔的心和屬世的私慾，在現今世按克己正義和敬虔而生活，

永恆主發神諭說；當那日我必從你中間剪滅你的馬匹，毁壞你的車輛；我必剪滅你國中的城市，翻毁你一切的堡壘；我必從你手中剪除邪術，你那裏就不再有算命的；我必從你中間剪除你的雕像和崇拜柱子，你就不再敬拜你自己的手所造的；我必從你中間拔出你的亞舍拉神木，掃滅你各種的偶像。

至於那些心中隨從可憎可厭惡之像的，我必將他們所行的還報在他們頭上：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。』

那在外面的隔牆、跟聖屋平行、朝着外院、在聖屋前面的、其長有五十肘。因為那些向着外院的聖屋、其長是五十肘；而那些沿着殿堂前面的卻是一百肘。

你那包銀的雕像和鍍金的鑄像、你們都要作為俗用，都要撒掉，如同月經布；對它說：『去吧！』

以法蓮哪，我和偶像還有甚麼關係呢？是我應了他，也是我監視他。以法蓮唱：『我如同青翠的松樹。』永恆主和：『你的果子是從我而來的。』

我必倍加報應他們的罪孽和罪惡，因為他們用他們可憎之像的屍體沾污了我的地，用他們可厭惡的偶像充滿了我的產業。』

我必將手轉過去攻擊你；我必鍊除你的雜質於爐中，除去你一切的渣滓。我必重立你的審判官、像起初一樣，重立你的謀士如起先一般；以後你就必稱為公義之城，忠信可靠的都市。』錫安必因公平而蒙贖救；她那些回轉的人必因公義而得救拔。

所以你們要看這在地上的肢體為死了的：就如淫亂、污穢、邪情、惡慾、和貪婪、（就是一種的拜偶像）。為此種種，上帝的義怒正臨到呢；從前你們在此種種之中生活的時候、你們也曾在其中行過。但如今呢、你們也要把一切都脫去了：脫去忿怒、暴怒、惡毒；從你們口中脫去毁謗和可恥的話。
