These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the Kebar River, and I realized that they were cherubim.

第三十年四月五日，我正在迦巴鲁河边的时候，天开了，我就看见神的异象；那时，我是在被掳的人中间。

后来基路伯也升起（这些就是我在迦巴鲁河边所看见的活物）。

于是，我起来，出到平原去，看见耶和华的荣耀停在那里，这荣耀就像我在迦巴鲁河边看见的一样。于是我俯伏在地。

又在撑子和边缘的上面刻有基路伯、狮子和棕树，又在各空处，周围刻上花纹。

在火中又有四个活物的形状，它们的样子是这样：它们都有人的形状。

在活物的头顶上面，有穹苍的形状，好像闪耀的水晶，十分可畏，在活物的头顶上面张开。在穹苍下面，活物的翅膀伸直张开，互相接触；各自用两个翅膀遮蔽身体。活物走动的时候，我听见它们翅膀的响声，像洪水的声音，也像全能者的声音，又像军队喧嚷的声音。它们站着不动的时候，翅膀就垂下来。有声音从它们头顶上面的穹苍发出来；它们站着不动的时候，翅膀就垂下来。在它们头顶的穹苍上面，有宝座的形状，好像蓝宝石的样子。在宝座的形象上面，有一个样子像人的形象。我看见在那仿佛是他腰部以上，好像闪耀的金属，又好像有火四面包围。在那仿佛是他腰部以下，我又看见好像有火，光芒环绕着他。下雨的日子，云中彩虹的样子怎样，环绕他的光芒的样子也怎样。这就是耶和华荣耀的形状的样子。我一看见，就俯伏在地上，跟着听见有说话的声音。

内殿和外殿周围的墙壁上，他都刻上基路伯、棕树和初开的花朵的雕刻。内殿和外殿的地板上也都贴上金子。内殿的入口，他用橄榄木做了门扇、门楣和五根门柱。他在橄榄木做的两门上，雕刻上基路伯、棕树和初开的花朵。他又在基路伯和棕树上包上了金子。他又照样为外殿的门，用橄榄木做了四根门柱。用松木做的两扇门，这一扇有两叶，是叠合在一起的，那一扇也有两叶，也是叠合在一起的。他又在上面刻上了基路伯、棕树和初开的花朵；又在雕刻上紧贴上金子。
