基路伯翅膀的響聲傳到外院，好像全能上帝說話的聲音。

就是那駕行在亙古的諸天之上的主！聽啊，他發出聲音，是極大的聲音。

因為主使亞蘭人的軍隊聽見戰車戰馬的聲音，大軍的聲音，他們就彼此說：「看哪，這必是以色列王雇用赫人諸王和埃及諸王來攻擊我們。」

耶和華的聲音在眾水上，榮耀的上帝打雷；耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力，耶和華的聲音滿有威嚴。耶和華的聲音震碎香柏樹，耶和華震碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩跳躍如牛犢，使西連跳躍如野牛犢。耶和華的聲音使火焰分岔。耶和華的聲音震動曠野，耶和華震動加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿落胎，樹林也脫落淨光。凡在他殿中的，都述說他的榮耀。

隨後，人聽見他的聲音，是那轟轟的聲音；他發出威嚴的雷聲，而不加以遏止。上帝發出奇妙的雷聲；他行大事，我們不能測透。

耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，就有冰雹和火炭。

聽啊，聽他轟轟的聲音，是上帝口中所發的響聲。
