「祂要使你們患埃及的膿瘡、腫瘤和癬疥，無藥可治。

第一位天使離去，將碗倒在了地上，那些有怪獸的印記、敬拜獸像的人身上長出奇痛無比的毒瘡。

於是，撒旦從耶和華面前退去，開始加害約伯，使他從頭到腳長毒瘡。

「耶和華要使你們從頭到腳長滿毒瘡，無藥可治。

「如果有人身上長瘡，又痊癒了，但原患處出現白色腫包或白裡帶紅的斑，他就要去讓祭司檢查。祭司檢查時，若發現患處凹陷，患處的毛髮變白，就要宣佈他是不潔淨的。這是瘡變成了痲瘋病。
