In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out;

The Israelites continued their travels. Whenever the cloud lifted from above the holy tent, they started out.

Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out.

Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it.

The Israelites set out whenever the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle throughout all the stages of their journey.

Throughout their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out;

你还是对他们大施怜悯，没有在旷野离弃他们。白天，云柱没有离开他们，仍然引导他们前行；夜间，火柱仍然照亮他们当走的路。

祂铺展云彩为他们遮荫，晚上用火给他们照明。

以色列人离开耶和华的山，走了三天的路程，期间耶和华的约柜一直在队伍的前头，为他们寻找安营之地。他们拔营前行的时候，白天总有耶和华的云彩在他们上面。每当约柜出发的时候，摩西就说：“耶和华啊，求你兴起，击溃你的敌人，使恨你的人逃窜。”约柜停下来的时候，他就说：“耶和华啊，求你回到以色列的千万人中。”

耶和华走在他们前面，白天用云柱为他们指示道路，晚上用火柱照亮他们，这样他们可以日夜赶路。白天的云柱和晚上的火柱从不离开他们。

祂白天以云柱带领他们，晚上用火柱引导他们。

第二年的二月二十日，云彩从安放约柜的圣幕上升起，以色列人就从西奈旷野启行，直到云彩停在巴兰旷野时才停下来。这是他们初次照耶和华借摩西的吩咐启行。

也就是说，上帝在基督里使世人与自己和好，不再追究他们的过犯。祂已托付我们去传扬这和好之道。所以我们现在是基督的大使，可以说上帝正借着我们发出呼求。我们替基督恳求你们：要与上帝和好！

要拿些除罪用的红母牛灰，放在器皿里，倒上清水，然后由洁净的人拿牛膝草蘸这水洒在帐篷及里面所有的人和器具上，也要洒在碰过骸骨、坟墓、被杀者尸体或自然死亡者尸体的人身上。要由洁净的人在第三天和第七天把水洒在不洁净的人身上。到第七天，接受洁净礼的人要洗衣、沐浴，等到傍晚才能洁净。若有人沾了污秽却没有用除秽水自洁，他就不洁净，要将他从会众中铲除，因为他玷污了耶和华的圣所。你们要永远遵行这定例。洒除秽水的人要洗净衣服。碰过除秽水的人要等到傍晚才能洁净。不洁净的人碰过的东西都不洁净，碰过这些东西的人傍晚之前都不洁净。”
