He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.

亞倫便照耶和華給摩西的吩咐，把嗎哪放在約櫃前保存起來。

耶穌回答說：「你就這樣做吧！我們理當這樣遵行上帝一切的要求。」於是約翰答應了。

我下山後，遵照耶和華的吩咐把石版放在我做的櫃子裡。現在石版仍放在那裡。

約櫃裡除了兩塊石版，沒有別的東西。石版是以色列人離開埃及後，耶和華在何烈山跟他們立約時，摩西放進去的。

所以，讓我們坦然無懼地到祂賜恩的寶座前，好領受憐憫和恩典，作隨時的幫助。

裡面有純金的香壇和包金的約櫃。約櫃裡珍藏著盛嗎哪的金罐、亞倫那根發過芽的手杖和兩塊刻著十誡的石版，

上帝使基督耶穌成為贖罪祭，以便人藉著相信耶穌的寶血可以得到赦免。這是為了顯明上帝的義，因為祂用忍耐的心寬容人過去的罪，

其實基督是律法的終極目的，使所有信靠祂的人都可以得到義。

把我將要賜給你的兩塊約版放在櫃裡。要用純金造一個施恩座，長一點一米，寬六十六釐米。用純金在施恩座的兩端打造兩個基路伯天使，跟施恩座連在一起，一端一個。兩個基路伯天使要面對面朝向施恩座，向上展開翅膀，遮蓋施恩座。要把施恩座放在櫃上面，把我賜給你的約版放在櫃裡。

他用純金造施恩座，長一點一米，寬六十六釐米。又在施恩座的兩端用金子打造兩個基路伯天使，這兩個基路伯天使跟施恩座連在一起，在施恩座的兩端，面對面朝向施恩座，向上展開翅膀遮蓋施恩座。

我的上帝啊，我樂意遵行你的旨意，我銘記你的律法。」

弟兄姊妹，耶穌已用寶血為我們開闢了一條又新又活的路，使我們可以穿過幔子，就是祂的身體，坦然進入至聖所。

耶和華在西奈山對摩西說完這些話以後，就把自己用指頭刻上誡命的兩塊石版交給摩西。

把約櫃安置在裡面，用幔子遮掩。
