Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun— blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen.

你要吩咐所有我賦予智慧的巧手裁縫師為亞倫縫製衣服，使他分別出來，做聖潔的祭司事奉我。

還有幾個曾被邪靈和疾病纏身、現在已被醫治的婦女。其中有抹大拉的瑪麗亞，耶穌曾經從她身上趕出七個鬼，還有希律的管家苦撒的妻子約亞娜，此外還有蘇珊娜等其他婦女。她們用自己的錢財資助耶穌和門徒。

她手拿捲線杆，手握紡線錘。她樂於賙濟窮人，伸手幫助困苦者。她不因下雪而為家人擔心，因為全家都穿著朱紅暖衣。她為自己縫製繡花毯，用細麻和紫布做衣服。她丈夫在城門口與當地長老同坐，受人尊重。她縫製細麻衣裳出售，又製作腰帶賣給商人。
