錘煉的銀片是從他施來的，金子則從烏法而來，都是匠人和銀匠的手工；又有藍色和紫色的衣服，全都是巧匠的作品。

米迦把這一千一百塊銀子還他母親。他母親說：「我把這銀子分別為聖，親手獻給耶和華，為我兒子造一尊雕刻的像，以及一尊鑄成的像。現在我把銀子交給你。」米迦把銀子還他母親，他母親把二百塊銀子交給銀匠，去造一尊雕刻的像，以及一尊鑄成的像，安置在米迦的房子裏。

他們從錢囊中倒出金子，用天平秤出銀子，雇銀匠造成神像，他們又俯伏，又叩拜。

至於偶像，匠人鑄造它，銀匠用金子包裹它，又為它鑄造銀鏈。沒有能力捐獻的人，就挑選不易朽壞的木頭，為自己尋找巧匠，豎立不會倒的偶像。
