锤炼的银片是从他施来的，金子则从乌法而来，都是匠人和银匠的手工；又有蓝色和紫色的衣服，全都是巧匠的作品。

米迦把这一千一百块银子还他母亲。他母亲说：“我把这银子分别为圣，亲手献给耶和华，为我儿子造一尊雕刻的像，以及一尊铸成的像。现在我把银子交给你。”米迦把银子还他母亲，他母亲把二百块银子交给银匠，去造一尊雕刻的像，以及一尊铸成的像，安置在米迦的房子里。

他们从钱囊中倒出金子，用天平秤出银子，雇银匠造成神像，他们又俯伏，又叩拜。

至于偶像，匠人铸造它，银匠用金子包裹它，又为它铸造银链。没有能力捐献的人，就挑选不易朽坏的木头，为自己寻找巧匠，竖立不会倒的偶像。
