Aaron said,“ Do not let your anger burn hot, my lord; you know these people, that they tend to evil.

亞倫回答說：「求我主不要動怒，你知道這些人專門作惡。

亞倫回答：“求我主不要發烈怒，你知道這人民傾向罪惡。

亞倫說：『求我主不要生氣；你認識這人民，知道他們是一味作壞事的。

亞倫曰、我主勿怒、斯民決志作惡、爾所知也、

亞倫曰、我主勿怒、爾知斯民、惟惡是作、

亞倫曰、我主毋怒、爾知斯民專於作惡、

“ Do not be angry, my lord,” Aaron answered.“ You know how prone these people are to evil.

“ Please don’t be angry,” Aaron answered.“ You know how these people like to do what is evil.

And Aaron said,“ Let not the anger of my lord burn hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil.

“ Don’t get so upset, my lord,” Aaron replied.“ You yourself know how evil these people are.

“ Don’t be enraged, my lord,” Aaron replied.“ You yourself know that the people are intent on evil.

And Aaron said,“ Do not let the anger of my lord burn; you know the people yourself, that they are prone to evil.

So Aaron said,“ Do not let the anger of my Lord become hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil.

And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on evil.

“ Don’t be enraged, my lord,” Aaron replied.“ You yourself know that the people are intent on evil.

And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they[ are set] on mischief.

Aaron said,“ Don’t let the anger of my lord grow hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil.

You have been rebelling against him from the very first day I knew you!

and they said to Moses,“ Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the desert? What in the world have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?

But they did not listen to Moses; some kept part of it until morning, and it was full of worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.

So the people murmured against Moses, saying,“ What can we drink?”

Then Saul said to Samuel,“ I have sinned, for I have disobeyed what the LORD commanded and what you said as well. For I was afraid of the army, and I followed their wishes.

Remember– don’t ever forget– how you provoked the LORD your God in the desert; from the time you left the land of Egypt until you came to this place you were constantly rebelling against him.

for I know about your rebellion and stubbornness. Indeed, even while I have been living among you to this very day, you have rebelled against the LORD; you will be even more rebellious after my death!

For they cannot sleep unless they cause harm; they are robbed of sleep until they make someone stumble.

So the LORD said to Moses,“ How long do you refuse to obey my commandments and my instructions?

The entire company of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the desert.The Israelites said to them,“ If only we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this desert to kill this whole assembly with hunger!”Then the Lord said to Moses,“ I am going to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people will go out and gather the amount for each day, so that I may test them. Will they walk in my law or not?

So the people contended with Moses, and they said,“ Give us water to drink!” Moses said to them,“ Why do you contend with me? Why do you test the LORD?”But the people were very thirsty there for water, and they murmured against Moses and said,“ Why in the world did you bring us up out of Egypt– to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?”Then Moses cried out to the LORD,“ What will I do with this people?– a little more and they will stone me!”

He plans ways to sin while he lies in bed; he is committed to a sinful lifestyle; he does not reject what is evil.
