And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought a great sin upon them?

摩西對亞倫說：“這人民向你作了甚麼，你竟使他們陷在大罪裡呢？”

摩西對亞倫說：『這人民向你作了甚麼，你竟使他們陷於大罪呀？』

謂亞倫曰、斯民於爾何為、使陷重罪、

謂亞倫曰、斯民何負於爾、使陷重罪。

摩西謂亞倫曰、斯民於爾何為、竟使之陷於重罪、

He said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you, that you led them into such great sin?”

He said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you? How did they make you lead them into such terrible sin?”

And Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you that you have brought such a great sin upon them?”

Finally, he turned to Aaron and demanded,“ What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?”

Then Moses asked Aaron,“ What did these people do to you that you have led them into such a grave sin?”

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you, that you have brought such a great sin upon them?”

And Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you that you have brought so great a sin upon them?”

Then Moses asked Aaron,“ What did these people do to you that you have led them into such a grave sin?”

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?

Moses said to Aaron,“ What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?”

Moses said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you, that you have brought a great sin on them?”

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and wherein have I sinned against thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

And he will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he hath sinned, and wherewith he hath made Israel to sin.

And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might easily have lain with thy wife, and thou wouldest have brought guiltiness upon us.

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Of a truth I have sinned against Jehovah, the God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:when I saw among the spoil a goodly Babylonish mantle, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.And they took them from the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel; and they laid them down before Jehovah.And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the mantle, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them up unto the valley of Achor.And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? Jehovah shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire, and stoned them with stones.And they raised over him a great heap of stones, unto this day; and Jehovah turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, that is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;of the gods of the peoples that are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

and I will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and hast made Israel to sin.

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than did the nations whom Jehovah destroyed before the children of Israel.And Jehovah spake by his servants the prophets, saying,Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, that were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols;
