When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.

As Moses approached the camp, he saw the calf. He also saw the people dancing. So he was very angry. He threw the tablets out of his hands. They broke into pieces at the foot of the mountain.

And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

When they came near the camp, Moses saw the calf and the dancing, and he burned with anger. He threw the stone tablets to the ground, smashing them at the foot of the mountain.

看见你们为自己铸造了牛犊像，得罪了你们的上帝耶和华，这么快就偏离了耶和华吩咐你们走的道，就当着你们的面摔碎了那两块石版。

‘凡不遵行这律法的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’

我又把那根叫“联合”的杖折断，以断开犹大和以色列之间的手足之情。

这约不同于我与他们祖先所立的约，就是我牵着他们祖先的手领他们离开埃及时所立的。虽然我是他们的丈夫，他们却违背了我的约。这是耶和华说的。”

摩西恳求他的上帝耶和华说：“耶和华啊，你为什么要向你的子民发烈怒呢？这些子民是你亲自用神迹和大能从埃及领出来的。

不要因生气而犯罪，不要到日落时还怒气未消，

耶稣看见后很生气，对门徒说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要阻止他们，因为上帝的国属于这样的人。

大卫穿着细麻布的以弗得在耶和华面前尽情跳舞。

但我告诉你们，凡无缘无故向弟兄发怒的，要受审判；凡骂弟兄是白痴的，要受公会的审判；凡骂弟兄是笨蛋的，难逃地狱的火。

我们心中的快乐消失，我们的舞蹈变成了哀哭。

耶稣生气地看着四周这些人，为他们的心刚硬而感到极其难过。祂对那人说：“把手伸出来！”那人一伸手，手就立刻复原了。

亚伦的姐姐米利暗是个先知，她手拿小鼓，带领妇女击鼓跳舞，

然后，我拿起那根叫“恩惠”的杖，把它折断，以废除我与万民所立的约。约就在当天废除了，那些注视着我的困苦羊便知道这是上帝的话。

其实摩西为人十分谦和，比世上任何人都谦和。

亚伦用这些金耳环铸造了一头牛犊。他们说：“以色列人啊，这就是把你们带出埃及的神明。”亚伦见状，便在牛犊前面筑了一座坛，然后宣告说：“明天是耶和华定的节期。”第二天清晨，百姓都上前来献燔祭和平安祭，献完祭后就坐下吃喝，起来狂欢。
