摩西說：『這不是打勝仗呼應的聲音，也不是打敗仗呼應的聲音；我所聽見的乃是唱和的聲音。』

摩西说：“这不是人打胜仗的声音，也不是人打败仗的声音；我所听见的乃是人歌唱的声音。”

摩西说：“这不是打胜仗的声音，也不是打败仗的声音，我听见的是歌唱的声音。”

摩西说：“这不是打胜仗的声音，也不是打败仗的声音，我听见的是歌唱的声音。”

摩西对他说：“这不是打胜仗的声音，也不是打败仗的声音，而是狂欢的声音。”

摩西回答：“这不是战胜的呼声，也不是战败的呼声；我听见的是歌唱的声音。”

摩西說：「這不是人打勝仗的聲音，也不是人打敗仗的聲音；我所聽見的乃是人歌唱的聲音。」

摩西說：「這不是打勝仗的聲音，也不是打敗仗的聲音，我聽見的是歌唱的聲音。」

摩西說：「這不是打勝仗的聲音，也不是打敗仗的聲音，我聽見的是歌唱的聲音。」

摩西對他說：「這不是打勝仗的聲音，也不是打敗仗的聲音，而是狂歡的聲音。」

摩西回答：“這不是戰勝的呼聲，也不是戰敗的呼聲；我聽見的是歌唱的聲音。”

曰、非戰勝之聲、亦非戰敗之聲、我所聞者、乃謳歌之聲也、

又曰、我聽其音、非勝非敗、乃謳歌之聲。

曰、此非戰勝之聲、亦非戰敗之聲、所聞者乃謳歌之聲、

Moses replied:“ It is not the sound of victory, it is not the sound of defeat; it is the sound of singing that I hear.”

Moses replied,“ It’s not the sound of winning. It’s not the sound of losing. It’s the sound of singing that I hear.”

But he said,“ It is not the sound of shouting for victory, or the sound of the cry of defeat, but the sound of singing that I hear.”

But Moses replied,“ No, it’s not a shout of victory nor the wailing of defeat. I hear the sound of a celebration.”

But Moses replied, It’s not the sound of a victory cry and not the sound of a cry of defeat; I hear the sound of singing!

But he said,“ It is not the sound of the cry of victory, Nor is it the sound of the cry of defeat; But I hear the sound of singing.”

But he said:“ It is not the noise of the shout of victory, Nor the noise of the cry of defeat, But the sound of singing I hear.”

And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome; but the noise of them that sing do I hear.

But Moses replied: It’s not the sound of a victory cry and not the sound of a cry of defeat; I hear the sound of singing!

And he said,[ It is] not the voice of[ them that] shout for mastery, neither[ is it] the voice of[ them that] cry for being overcome:[ but] the noise of[ them that] sing do I hear.

Moses said,“ It is not the sound of those who shout for victory, nor is it the sound of those who cry because they are overcome, but the sound of singing I hear.”

He said,“ It isn’t the voice of those who shout for victory. It is not the voice of those who cry for being overcome; but the noise of those who sing that I hear.”

那時摩西和以色列人就唱以下這首歌頌讚永恆主說；『我要歌頌永恆主，因為他得勝昂首，將馬和騎兵投入海中。永恆主是我的力量、我的詩歌，也成了我的救星。這位是我的上帝；我要讚美他；是我父的上帝；我要尊崇他。永恆主是戰士；他的名是永恆主耶和華。他將法老的車輛和軍兵扔於海中；法老特選的軍官都沉於蘆葦海。深淵淹沒了他們；他們如同石頭墜到深海。永恆主啊，你的右手威嚴而大有能力；永恆主啊，你的右手擊碎了仇敵。你以威風之凜凜推翻那起來攻擊你的；你發出烈怒把他們燒盡了，像燒碎稭一樣。你發鼻孔中之氣，水便堆積起來；河流直立如壘；深淵凝結於海中心。仇敵說：「我要追趕，我要趕上；我要分擄物；我要拿住他們，來滿足心願。我要拔出刀來，親手趕滅他們。」但你一吹氣，海就淹沒他們，他們就像鉛沉沒於壯闊水中。永恆主啊，在諸神中，誰能像你呢？誰能像你有至聖的威風，有可讚之可畏，施行着奇事呢？你伸出右手，地便吞滅他們。你憑你堅固的愛領導你所贖回的人民，你用你的力量引領他們到你的聖居所。萬族之民聽見就戰抖，慘痛抓住了非利士的居民。那時以東的族系長驚惶，摩押的權貴被戰兢抓住，迦南的居民都震撼搖動：恐怖震懾襲擊了他們。永恆主啊，因你膀臂之大能力，他們竟如石頭寂然不動，等你的人民過去，等你所獲得的人民過去。你要將他們領進去，栽於那山上，於你的產業上，永恆主啊，於你為自己所造的住處上，主啊，於你手所建立的聖所上。永恆主必掌王權、直到永永遠遠。』

他們喝酒，稱頌了金銀銅鐵木頭石頭的神。

竟對着天上的主高抬自己，叫人把他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和你大臣、王后、妃嬪竟用這些器皿來喝酒；你又稱頌那些金銀銅鐵、木頭石頭的神，就是那些不能看、不能聽、不能知道的；至於那手中執掌你氣息、那管理你一生行程的上帝、你卻不將尊榮歸與他。
