所以，我要在战争的吶喊声中，在暴风雨吹袭的时候，降火在拉巴的城墙上，烧毁它的城堡。

万民啊，你们要鼓掌，向上帝高声欢呼！

听到角声，它就发出长嘶，它老远便嗅到战争的气味，并听见吶喊和将领的号令。

走到第七次，祭司吹响了号角，约书亚吩咐民众说：“吶喊吧！因为耶和华已经将这城交给你们了。

以色列人和犹大人乘势吶喊，追杀非利士人，直追到迦特和以革伦的城门。通往迦特和以革伦的沙拉音大道上到处是非利士人的尸体。

非利士人看见参孙来到利希，就呐喊着迎了上去。耶和华的灵降在参孙身上，绑在他手臂上的绳子就像被火烧的麻线一样脱落下来。

他们彼此唱和，赞美、称谢耶和华，说：“祂是美善的，因为祂向以色列人永施慈爱！”所有人都高声欢呼赞美耶和华，因为耶和华殿的根基已经立好。许多曾见过旧殿的年长的祭司、利未人和族长看见这殿的根基，不禁放声大哭，也有很多人高声欢呼。人们无法分辨是痛哭声还是欢呼声，因为众人都大声呼喊，声音传到远处。

摩西对他说：“这不是打胜仗的声音，也不是打败仗的声音，而是狂欢的声音。”

以色列人看见耶和华的约柜到了营中，就高声欢呼，声音震天动地。非利士人听见了喊声就说：“希伯来人在营中喊什么？”后来他们知道是耶和华的约柜到了营中，

当你们听到号角长鸣时，所有的人都要高声吶喊，城墙就会坍塌，众人便可以直冲上去。”

万军之耶和华凭自己起誓说：“我要使敌人如蝗虫一样铺天盖地而来，占据你们的家园，欢呼胜利。”

约书亚吩咐民众：“在我下令叫你们吶喊以前，谁也不许作声，一句话也不许说。”

大卫清早起来把羊交给一个牧人看顾，然后照父亲的吩咐带着食物出发了。他来到军营的时候，大军正吶喊着出战。

所以我要降火在摩押，烧毁加略的城堡。摩押要在战争的喧嚣、吶喊和号角声中灭亡。

于是，民众听到号角声时，就高声呐喊，城墙便坍塌了。民众便一拥而上，占领了耶利哥城，
