And he made the altar of burnt- offering of acacia wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof, foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.And he made the horns thereof upon the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of one piece with it: and he overlaid it with brass.And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basins, the flesh- hooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.And he made for the altar a grating of network of brass, under the ledge round it beneath, reaching halfway up.And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grating of brass, to be places for the staves.And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with brass.And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, wherewith to bear it; he made it hollow with planks.And he made the laver of brass, and the base thereof of brass, of the mirrors of the ministering women that ministered at the door of the tent of meeting.

Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and the base thereof of brass, whereat to wash. And thou shalt put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:when they go into the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

And thou shalt make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof; the horns thereof shall be of one piece with it: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.And thou shalt make its pots to take away its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its flesh- hooks, and its firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.And thou shalt make for it a grating of network of brass: and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.And thou shalt put it under the ledge round the altar beneath, that the net may reach halfway up the altar.And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.And the staves thereof shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, in bearing it.Hollow with planks shalt thou make it: as it hath been showed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.

And thou shalt anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.
