耶和華又曰、如爾恪聽予言、於安息日不負荷入此邑門、乃以安息日為聖日、亦不操作、則繼大闢為王、乘車服馬、與厥諸僕、及猶大耶路撒冷居民、俱入邑門、此邑永存。自猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷四周、及便雅憫地、或山岡、或平原、或南方、人將至、攜燔祭禮物、芬芳之品、入我殿宇、揄揚我名。如爾不聽、不以安息日為聖日、仍於安息日負荷入耶路撒冷邑門、則我必火焚邑門、延及宮殿、無人撲滅。

歸備芳馨之品、及香膏、當安息日、遵誡而止、

汝於六日宜操作、越至七日、以為聖日、奉事耶和華、於焉憩息、是日操作者必死。

當以安息日為聖日、永誌勿忘。六日間宜操作、越至七日、則耶和華、爾上帝之安息日也、是日、爾與子女僕婢牲畜、及遠人主於爾家者、皆勿操作、蓋六日間、耶和華造天地海萬物、七日止、故耶和華以安息日為聖日、而錫嘏焉、

由是而觀、後必有安息、上帝將賜其民、

於我及以色列族間、永世為徵、蓋六日間、我耶和華造天地、七日止、而憩息焉。

故當守安息日以為聖日、凡凟之者殺無赦、操作於是日者、必絕之民中。

以色列族居野時遇人於安息日採薪、遂攜之至摩西亞倫、及會眾前、若何處置、猶未定擬、故囚於獄。耶和華諭摩西曰、其人必殺毋赦、會眾必於營外、擊之以石。遂攜出營外、以石擊之、遵耶和華諭摩西之命。○

主耶和華曰、六日間、民操作、必閉內院之東門、安息日及月朔必啟、

宰會堂者、見耶穌安息日施醫、憾之、謂眾曰、工作自有六日、可來受醫、不必安息日也、

六日間當斂之、惟七日乃安息、不能得也。

是月九日薄暮、至明日薄暮、當守安息日、卑以自牧。○
