And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.

And now Israel’s cry for help has reached me. I have seen how badly the Egyptians are treating them.

And now, behold, the cry of the people of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

Look! The cry of the people of Israel has reached me, and I have seen how harshly the Egyptians abuse them.

So because the Israelites’ cry for help has come to me, and I have also seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them,

And now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.

Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

And now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: moreover I have seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

过了很久，埃及王死了。以色列人在捆锁中叹息，他们就呼求，在捆锁中的呼求达到神那里。

耶和华说：“我的子民在埃及所受的痛苦，我实在看见了；他们因受督工的辖制所发的呼声，我也听见了；他们的痛苦，我是知道的。

法老吩咐他的众民说：“凡是希伯来人（《马索拉文本》无“希伯来人”，现参照其他古文本及古译本补上）所生的男孩，你们都要把他投在河里；凡是女孩，就让她活着。”

于是，他们指派督工管辖他们，加重他们的重担苦害他们，他们为法老建造两座贮货城，就是比东和兰塞。

于是，埃及人严严地使以色列人作苦工。埃及人使他们因作苦工而觉得命苦，他们要和泥、做砖、作田间各样的工；这一切苦工，埃及人都严严地驱使以色列人去作。

你不可因为贫穷人穷乏，就抢夺他的东西，也不可在城门口欺压穷苦人。因为耶和华必为他们伸冤，抢夺他们的，耶和华也必夺取那人的性命。

撒玛利亚山上的巴珊母牛啊！要听这话；你们欺负贫穷人，压迫穷苦人，又对自己的丈夫说：“拿酒来，给我们饮用。”

那些在床上图谋不义，并且行恶的人有祸了！因为他们的手有力量，天一亮，就作出来了。他们要田地，就去抢夺；想要房屋，就去强取。他们欺压人和他的家眷，取人和人的产业。因此耶和华这样说：看哪！我策划灾祸攻击这家族，你们无法缩起颈项避开这灾祸。你们不能昂首而行（“昂首而行”或译：“高视阔步”）；因为这是个灾难的时代。

耶和华说：“因为困苦人的冤屈和贫穷人的叹息，我现在要起来，把他们安置在他们渴望的稳妥之中。”

我又看见日光之下所发生一切欺压的事：受欺压的流泪，却无人安慰他们；欺压他们的，手里握着权柄，因此无人安慰受欺压的。

万军之耶和华这样说：“以色列人被压迫，犹大人也一样受到欺压；所有俘掳他们的都紧紧抓住他们，不肯释放他们。但他们的救赎主大有能力，万军之耶和华是他的名；他必认真地为他们的案件申辩，好使那地得到安宁，却使巴比伦的居民惶乱不安。

如果你在一省之中，看到穷人遭受欺压，公正和公义被夺去，也不必因此惊讶，因为高位者之上有较高的照应，在他们之上还有更高的。
