while I was still speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering.

May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The raising of my hands as the evening offering.

“ And you shall provide a lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord daily; morning by morning you shall provide it.You shall also provide a grain offering with it morning by morning, a sixth of an ephah and a third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour, a grain offering to the Lord continually by a permanent ordinance.So they shall provide the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil, morning by morning, as a continual burnt offering.”

Then at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet approached and said,“ Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.
