就宰了公牛。摩西用指头蘸血，抹在坛上四角的周围，使坛洁净，把血倒在坛的脚那里，使坛成圣，坛就洁净了；

他出来，要到耶和华面前的坛那里，在坛上行赎罪之礼，又要取些公牛的血和公山羊的血，抹在坛上四角的周围；

祭司要用指头蘸些赎罪祭牲的血，抹在燔祭坛的四角上，把血倒在燔祭坛的脚那里。

又要把些血抹在会幕内、耶和华面前坛的四角上，再把所有的血倒在会幕门口、燔祭坛的脚那里。

把那些犯罪、自害己命之人的香炉，叫人锤成片子，用以包坛。那些香炉本是他们在耶和华面前献过的，所以是圣的，并且可以给以色列人作记号。”于是祭司以利亚撒将被烧之人所献的铜香炉拿来，人就锤出来，用以包坛，

当日，王因耶和华殿前的铜坛太小，容不下燔祭、素祭，和平安祭牲的脂油，便将耶和华殿前院子当中分别为圣，在那里献燔祭、素祭，和平安祭牲的脂油。
