But I say unto you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you,bless them that curse you, pray for them that despitefully use you.

If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, Or lifted up myself when evil found him( Yea, I have not suffered by mouth to sin By asking his life with a curse);

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, And let not thy heart be glad when he is overthrown;Lest Jehovah see it, and it displease him, And he turn away his wrath from him.
