“ I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.

“ I will make your borders secure from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. They will go from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people who live in the land. You will drive them out to make room for yourselves.

And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

And I will fix your boundaries from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the eastern wilderness to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people now living in the land, and you will drive them out ahead of you.

就在那一天，永恆主就同亞伯蘭立了約說：『這地我已經給了你的後裔了：就是從埃及河直到大河、就是伯拉河、那一帶：

從曠野和這利巴嫩、直到大河、就是伯拉河、赫人全地、又到大海、日落的方向、都要做你們的境界。

永恆主使他們四圍得享平靜，照他們向他們列祖所起誓的一切話；他們所有的仇敵中、沒有一個人能在他們面前站得住的；永恆主把他們所有的仇敵都交在他們手中。

你們的南面要從尋的曠野、貼着以東的邊緣；你們的南界要從東方鹽海的儘南邊起；你們的界線要轉到亞克拉濱坡的南邊，經過了尋，其終點是加低斯巴尼亞的南邊，又出到哈薩亞達，過到押們；你們的界線要從押們轉到埃及小河，其終點是大海。『西界呢、你們有大海和海岸；這要做你們的西界。『以下要做你們的北界：要從大海畫到何珥山；從何珥山畫到哈馬口；這界線的終點是西達達；界線又出到西斐崙，其終點是哈薩以難；這要做你們的北界。『你們要畫東界線，從哈薩以難到示番。這界線要從示番下到利比拉、在亞延東邊；這界線要下去，直迫基尼烈湖的阪坡東邊。這界線要下到約但河，其終點是鹽海。以上要做你們的地、按它四圍的界線所包括的。』摩西吩咐以色列人說：『這是你們要憑拈鬮承受為業的地，是永恆主吩咐給予九個半支派的；因為如便子孫的支派已經按着父系家屬承受了產業，迦得子孫的支派也已經按着父系家屬承受了產業，瑪拿西的半個支派也已經承受了產業：這兩個半支派已經在耶利哥對面、約但河東這邊、日出的方向、承受了產業。』

猶大就上去；永恆主把迦南人和比利洗人交在他們手中；他們在比色擊敗了一萬人。

永恆主以色列的上帝將西宏和他的眾民都交在以色列人手中，以色列人就擊打他們，取得了住那地之亞摩利人的全地，

願他掌權柄，從這海到那海，從大河到地極。

永恆主又把別族之民、住這地的亞摩利人、都從我們面前趕出；所以我們、也必定事奉永恆主，因為他才是我們的上帝。』

因為是他做大官在管理大河西邊全地、從提弗薩直到迦薩，他在管理大河西邊的諸王；在他周圍四方他都得享太平。

所羅門統治諸國、從大河到非利士人之地、直到埃及的邊界；儘所羅門活着的日子、這些國都進貢他、服事他。

我打發了大黃蜂在你們前面，將亞摩利人的兩個王從你們面前趕出，並不是用你的刀，也不是用你的弓。

永恆主對約書亞說：『你伸出手裏的短槍指着艾城，因為我要將城交在你手裏』；約書亞就伸出手裏的短槍指着那城。

這時忽有一個神言人走近前來見以色列王亞哈說：『這一大隊蜂擁軍兵你不是都看見了麼？看吧，今天我必將他們交在你手裏，你就知道我乃是永恆主。』

『看吧，我今日要走全地上人必走的路了。你們全心全意地知道永恆主你們的上帝所應許關於你們的事，就是一切賜福的事，是沒有一件落了空；全都應驗在你們身上，沒有一件落空的。

永恆主對我說：「不要怕他，因為我已經把他和他的眾民、跟他的地、都交在你手中；你要待他、像待那住希實本的亞摩利人之王西宏一樣。」

你們呢、卻不可躭擱；要追趕仇敵，截擊他們的儘後隊，別容他們進自己的城；因為永恆主你們的上帝已經把他們交在你們手裏。』

那時你們就可以從埋伏的地方起來，取得那城；永恆主你們的上帝就把城交在你們手裏了。

永恆主對約書亞說：『不要怕他們；因為我已經將他們交在你手裏；他們必沒有一個人能在你面前站得住。』

於是大衛又求問永恆主。永恆主回答說：『你只管起身、下基伊拉去；我必將非利士人交在你手裏。』

我領你們到亞摩利人之地，就是住在約但河東那邊的；他們跟你們交戰，我將他們交在你們手中，你們便取得了他們的地以為業；我也將他們從你們面前消滅掉。

永恆主對摩西說：『不要怕他，因為我已經把他和他的人民、跟他的地、都交在你手中；你要待他、像待那住希實本的亞摩利人之王西宏一樣。』
