But if a man willfully attacks another to kill him by cunning, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.

倘若是蓄意杀人，就算他逃到我的祭坛那里，也要把他拉出来处死。

若有人任意待他的邻舍，用诡计把他杀了，你要把他从我的祭坛那里拿去处死。

人若因仇用奸計殺人、雖逃至我祭臺、亦當執之而殺、○

But if anyone schemes and kills someone deliberately, that person is to be taken from my altar and put to death.

But suppose they kill someone on purpose. Then take them away from my altar and put them to death.

However, if someone deliberately kills another person, then the slayer must be dragged even from my altar and be put to death.

If a person schemes and willfully acts against his neighbor to murder him, you must take him from my altar to be put to death.

If, however, someone is enraged against his neighbor, so as to kill him in a cunning way, you are to take him even from My altar, to be put to death.

“ But if a man acts with premeditation against his neighbor, to kill him by treachery, you shall take him from My altar, that he may die.

And if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

If a person schemes and willfully acts against his neighbor to murder him, you must take him from My altar to be put to death.

But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

When the news came to Joab— for Joab had supported Adonijah although he had not supported Absalom— Joab fled to the tent of the Lord and caught hold of the horns of the altar.And when it was told King Solomon,“ Joab has fled to the tent of the Lord, and behold, he is beside the altar,” Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying,“ Go, strike him down.”So Benaiah came to the tent of the Lord and said to him,“ The king commands,‘ Come out.’” But he said,“ No, I will die here.” Then Benaiah brought the king word again, saying,“ Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.”The king replied to him,“ Do as he has said, strike him down and bury him, and thus take away from me and from my father’s house the guilt for the blood that Joab shed without cause.The Lord will bring back his bloody deeds on his own head, because, without the knowledge of my father David, he attacked and killed with the sword two men more righteous and better than himself, Abner the son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, commander of the army of Judah.So shall their blood come back on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever. But for David and for his descendants and for his house and for his throne there shall be peace from the Lord forevermore.”Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and struck him down and put him to death. And he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

And Adonijah feared Solomon. So he arose and went and took hold of the horns of the altar.Then it was told Solomon,“ Behold, Adonijah fears King Solomon, for behold, he has laid hold of the horns of the altar, saying,‘ Let King Solomon swear to me first that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’”

“‘ Cursed be anyone who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones,

The man who acts presumptuously by not obeying the priest who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.And all the people shall hear and fear and not act presumptuously again.

And when Abner returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the midst of the gate to speak with him privately, and there he struck him in the stomach, so that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

So I spoke to you, and you would not listen; but you rebelled against the command of the Lord and presumptuously went up into the hill country.

But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.Because he has despised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.”

“ But if anyone hates his neighbor and lies in wait for him and attacks him and strikes him fatally so that he dies, and he flees into one of these cities,then the elders of his city shall send and take him from there, and hand him over to the avenger of blood, so that he may die.Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, so that it may be well with you.

when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.

And Joab said to Amasa,“ Is it well with you, my brother?” And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.But Amasa did not observe the sword that was in Joab’s hand. So Joab struck him with it in the stomach and spilled his entrails to the ground without striking a second blow, and he died. Then Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.

Then Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains who were set over the army,“ Bring her out between the ranks, and put to death with the sword anyone who follows her.” For the priest said,“ Let her not be put to death in the house of the Lord.”

And if he pushed him out of hatred or hurled something at him, lying in wait, so that he died,or in enmity struck him down with his hand, so that he died, then he who struck the blow shall be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
