他對女兒們說：「那個人在哪裏？你們為甚麼撇下他呢？你們去請他來吃飯。」

他對女兒們說：「那人在哪裏？你們為甚麼撇下他呢？去請他來吃飯吧！」

他又問女兒們：「現在那人在哪裡？你們怎麼可以丟下他不管呢？去請他來吃點東西。」

父親問女兒們說：『他在哪裏？你們為甚麼撇下這個人呢？去請他來喫飯。』

父曰、其人安在、胡為遺之、請之來食、

曰、其人安在、因何遺之、請來食餅。

父謂女曰、此人安在、爾何遺之、可請來食餅、

And he said unto his daughters, And where[ is] he? why[ is] it[ that] ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

He said to his daughters,“ So where is he? Why in the world did you leave the man? Call him, so that he may eat a meal with us.”

Jacob offered a sacrifice in the mountain, and called his relatives to eat bread. They ate bread, and stayed all night in the mountain.

They prepared the present for Joseph’s coming at noon, for they heard that they should eat bread there.

and he said,“ See now, my lords, please come into your servant’s house, stay all night, wash your feet, and you can rise up early, and go on your way.” They said,“ No, but we will stay in the street all night.”He urged them greatly, and they came in with him, and entered into his house. He said,“ Come in, you blessed of Yahweh. Why do you stand outside? For I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.”The man came into the house, and he unloaded the camels. He gave straw and feed for the camels, and water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.Food was set before him to eat, but he said,“ I will not eat until I have told my message.” Laban said,“ Speak on.”
