“这是耶和华在山上的烈火、乌云和幽暗中高声颁布给你们全体会众的诫命。此外，祂没有说别的。祂把这些话写在两块石版上交给我。

我眺望群山，大山在颤抖，小山在摇晃。

“耶和华从西奈山来，在西珥山向我们显现，祂从巴兰山发出光辉；祂带着千万圣者来临，祂右边有闪耀的光芒。

太阳下山后，大地黑暗，突然有冒烟的火炉和点着的火炬在肉块中经过。

那时上帝的声音震动了大地，但现在祂应许说：“再一次，我不单要震动地，还要震动天。”

他们的声音震动圣殿的根基，圣殿里烟云弥漫。

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，站在我面前。”耶和华从那里经过时，疾风大作，劈山碎石，但耶和华不在风中。疾风过后又有地震，但耶和华不在其中。地震之后又有火，但耶和华也不在火中。之后，传来微小的声音。

所罗门祷告完毕，就有火从天上降下，烧尽了燔祭和其他祭物。殿里充满了耶和华的荣光，以致祭司不能进殿。全体以色列人看见有火降下，又看见耶和华的荣光停在殿上，便俯伏敬拜，称谢耶和华说：“耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存。”

惩罚那些不认识上帝、不听从有关我们主耶稣之福音的人。

你们要从我的这山谷逃跑，因为山谷必延伸到亚萨。你们必像犹大王乌西雅年间的人躲避大地震一样逃跑。我的上帝耶和华必带着所有的圣者降临。

民族将与民族互斗，国家将与国家相争，各处将有饥荒和地震。

不过，主再来的日子要像贼一样突然临到。那日，诸天必在一声巨响中消失，有形有质的都要被烈火焚毁，大地和其中的一切将不复存在。

在祂面前，群山震动，丘陵消融。在祂面前，大地隆起，世界和世上的一切都战栗。祂发怒，谁能站立？祂发烈怒，谁能承受？祂的愤怒如火焰喷涌而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。

你们来到山脚下，站在那里，山上烈焰冲天、乌云密布、极其幽暗。耶和华在火焰中对你们说话，你们只听见祂的声音，却看不见祂的形象。

大地啊，你要在主面前，在雅各的上帝面前战抖，

你们不可用手触摸违例者，要用石头打死他或用箭射死他，牲畜也不例外。百姓要一直等到听见角声长鸣才可上山。”

旋风中传来你的雷声，你的闪电照亮世界，大地颤抖震动。

那时雷电交加，号角嘹亮，山上冒烟，百姓看见此情景，都吓得浑身颤抖，不敢挨近。
