稽古在昔、爾拯斯族、為爾選民、爰建郇邑、以為駐蹕之所、請爾追憶弗忘兮。

謂其人曰、耶和華曾以此地錫爾、我所素知、斯土之人懼爾、甚至喪膽、

天下邦國、既聞爾名、我必使之畏爾、戰慄悚惶。○

詰朝拿八宿酲已解、其妻以實告之、拿八喪膽、屹焉如石。

爾之上帝耶和華必應前言、使爾所至之地、其民驚懼、不能捍禦。○

彼舍己贖我、免乎諸惡、潔諸選民、熱中為善、以適主用、

蓋耶和華救雅各家、免為強暴所害。

伊昔民間有偽先知、如爾中將有偽師、私傳異端以害人、主贖之、而彼拒之、自速其辜、

爾乃成聖之國、得救之民、推選之族、為王而祭司者、既蒙主召爾出幽暗、入靈光、爾當表彰其德、

敬虔者為耶和華所範衛、無義者歸於幽暗而不動、蓋恃己力、無能得勝。

而以色列族、由人及畜、無犬敢吠、使爾知埃及人與以色列族、為耶和華所區別。

宇內屬我、爾果聽我言、守我約、則於列國中、我必以爾為寶、亦為祭司之國、成聖之民、役事於我、爾以此言告於以色列族。

使滄海水涸、中判為途、以濟得拯之民者、豈非爾乎。

其人民為耶和華所得、雅各眾為耶和華恆業、

昔爾涖臨埃及、拯以色列族、使為爾民、而名以播揚。爾行大事、深為可畏、以保爾民、斯土之眾、及其上帝、被爾驅逐、如是天下之億兆安能與斯民比儗乎。

耶和華曰雅各家、以色列族、我肇造爾邦、拯救爾民、簡為我赤子、故勿畏葸、我左右爾、雖涉江河、不致沉淪、雖經烈燄、不致焚燬。我耶和華、以色列族之聖主、為爾上帝、為爾救主、因欲救爾、故使埃及、古實、西巴悉遭喪敗。

故當自慎、亦慎全群、聖神立爾為督者、牧上帝教會、彼以流血而贖之、

爾所至之地、我必使其民悚懼、潰亂特甚、與爾敵者、無不敗北。

耶和華非爾父、生成爾、創造爾乎。噫、無智之蚩氓、豈如是以報恩耶。
