無不驚駭、爾施厥能敵不敢動、屹然如石、待耶和華所得之民經其地。

求你記念你古時就買贖了的會眾，就是你所贖回作你繼業的支派；求你記念你所安居的錫安山。

到了早晨，納巴爾酒醒後，他的妻子把這些事告訴他，他就失去了意識，身體變得硬如石頭。

他為我們獻上自己，是為了救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並且潔淨我們做他自己特選的子民，做美好工作的熱心人。

不過，在子民當中也出現過假先知；照樣，在你們當中也會有假教師。他們會偷偷引進使人滅亡的異端，甚至否認那救贖他們的主，給自己招來快速的滅亡。

但你們屬於蒙揀選的族類、君王的祭司體系、聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民；為要使你們宣揚曾召喚你們的那一位的美德——他召喚你們出黑暗，入他奇妙的光明。

他必保守他忠信者的腳步，惡人卻在黑暗中滅亡；人得勝不是靠著力量。

使海洋深淵之水乾涸的，使海洋深處變為道路，讓救贖之民經過的，難道不是你嗎？

世上有哪一國像你的子民以色列呢？神為自己贖回一個民族，為自己立名，為自己的地、在自己的子民面前，就是從埃及、列國和他們神明那裡救贖的子民面前，為他們行大而可畏的事。

雅各啊，創造你的那一位，以色列啊，塑造你的那一位——耶和華如此說：「你不要害怕，因為我救贖了你；我提你的名召喚了你；你是屬於我的！你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你渡過河流，水必不漫過你；你在火中行走，必不被燒灼，火焰也燒不著你。因為我是耶和華你的神，是以色列的聖者，你的拯救者，所以我犧牲埃及作你的贖價，犧牲庫實和西拔替代你。

你們當為自己謹慎，也當為全體羊群謹慎。聖靈把你們放在這羊群裡做監督，為要牧養神的教會，就是他用自己的血所贖來的。
