法老必定以為你們走迷了路，被困在曠野。

Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’

For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel,‘ They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’

我聽見許多人竊竊私語：「看那個說『四面有恐怖』的人，我們告發他！告發他！」我的好友都盼著我滅亡，說：「或許他會受騙，那樣我們便能打倒他，一泄心頭之恨。」但耶和華與我同在，祂像勇猛的戰士。迫害我的人必一敗塗地，羞愧難當，留下永遠的恥辱。

迦薩人得知參孫來了，便包圍那地方，整夜埋伏在城門口，沒有動手，心想：「等天一亮，我們就殺掉他。」

當許多禍患和災難臨到他們的時候，這首歌就要成為指控他們的證據，因為這首歌要在他們的子孫中世代流傳。雖然我還沒有帶領他們進入我起誓應許之地，我已經知道他們的心思意念。」

然而他們所做的只不過是你憑自己的能力和旨意所預定的。

掃羅得知大衛在基伊拉，就說：「這一次是上帝把他交在我手中了，因為他竟然自投網羅，進入有門有閂的城。」

可是，我要使法老的心剛硬，雖然我在埃及行許多神蹟奇事，他將無動於衷。那時，我必伸手重重地懲罰埃及，然後領我的大隊子民離開埃及。

「上帝已經丟棄了他。去追趕、捉拿他吧，因為無人會救他。」
