卻忘記鋪張諸天、立定地基、創造你的耶和華？又因欺壓者圖謀毀滅要發的暴怒，整天害怕，其實那欺壓者的暴怒在哪裏呢？

海水衝出，如出胎胞，那時誰將它關閉呢？是我用雲彩當海的衣服，用幽暗當包裹它的布，為它定界限，又安門和閂，說：你只可到這裏，不可越過；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。

使海與深淵的水乾涸、使海的深處變為贖民經過之路的，不是你嗎？

你的道在海中；你的路在大水中；你的腳蹤無人知道。你曾藉摩西和亞倫的手引導你的百姓，好像羊羣一般。

他卻領出自己的民如羊，在曠野引他們如羊羣。他領他們穩穩妥妥地，使他們不致害怕；海卻淹沒他們的仇敵。

你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你蹚過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不着在你身上。

使他榮耀的膀臂在摩西的右手邊行動，在他們前面將水分開，要建立自己永遠的名，帶領他們經過深處，如馬行走曠野，使他們不致絆跌的在哪裏呢？

那從上往下流的水便在極遠之地、撒拉但旁的亞當城那裏停住，立起成壘；那往亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，下流的水全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。
