因着信、以色列人過蘆葦海，像過旱地；埃及人一試，就被吞滅了。

猶大人進襲到曠野的瞭望岡，向那蜂擁軍兵觀看着；只見竟是仆倒於地的屍身呢！沒有一個逃脫的。

但你一吹氣，海就淹沒他們，他們就像鉛沉沒於壯闊水中。

摩西對人民說：『不要懼怕，只管站住，看永恆主今天向你們所要施行的拯救；因為你們今天所看見的埃及人，你們再也永遠看不見了。

你又在我們的列祖面前使海裂開，讓他們在海中乾地上走過去，將追趕他們的人丟在深海，如同石頭丟在浩蕩之水中。
