Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Hold out your walking stick. Reach out your hand over the Red Sea to divide the water. Then the people can go through the sea on dry ground.

耶和華對摩西說：「你要向海伸手，使水回流到埃及人，他們的戰車和戰車長身上。」

摩西就帶着妻子和兩個兒子，讓他們騎上驢，回埃及地去。摩西手裏拿着神的杖。

摩西向海伸手，耶和華就用強勁的東風，使海水在一夜間退去，海就成了乾地；水分開了。以色列人下到海中，走在乾地上，水在他們左右成了牆壁。

萬軍之耶和華要舉起鞭子來攻擊他，好像在俄立磐石那裏擊打米甸人一樣。他的杖向海伸出，他必把杖舉起，如在埃及一般。

「你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亞倫召集會眾，在他們眼前吩咐磐石湧出水來，水就會從磐石流出，給會眾和他們的牲畜喝。」於是摩西遵照耶和華所吩咐他的，從耶和華面前拿了杖去。

「法老若吩咐你們說：『你們行一件奇事吧！』你就對亞倫說：『把杖丟在法老面前！杖會變成蛇。』」

耶和華對摩西說：「你手裏的是甚麼？」他說：「是杖。」

摩西舉起手來，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。
