他們在急難中呼求耶和華，耶和華就救他們脫離困苦；

義人哀求，耶和華就垂聽，搭救他們脫離一切患難，

但他一見風浪就害怕，快要沉下去的時候，就呼叫：“主啊！救我！”耶穌馬上伸手拉住他，對他說：“小信的人哪，為甚麼疑惑？”

“我，我耶和華是安慰你們的；你是誰，竟怕那會死的人，怕那被造如草的世人呢？你忘記了造你的耶和華，就是那展開諸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺壓者準備行毀滅的時候所發的烈怒，你就終日不住懼怕呢？其實那欺壓者的烈怒在哪裡呢？

他們走來把他叫醒，說：“主啊！救命啊！我們沒命了！”耶穌卻對他們說：“小信的人哪！為甚麼害怕呢？”他就起來斥責風和海，風浪就完全平靜了。

住在黎巴嫩，在香柏林中搭窩的啊！有痛苦臨到你，像產婦劇痛的時候，你要怎樣呻吟呢？”

他們在急難中呼求耶和華，耶和華就拯救他們脫離困苦。

耶和華啊！我們在急難中尋求你；你的懲罰臨到我們身上的時候，我們就傾心吐意低聲禱告。

有人告訴大衛家說：“亞蘭已經在以法蓮地安營。”王的心和人民的心就都震動，像林中的樹被風搖動一樣。

可是他聽到了他們哀叫的時候，就垂顧他們的苦難。

他們在無可驚懼的時候，必大大震驚；因為神把那些紮營攻擊你的人的骨頭擊散了；他們蒙羞受辱，因為神棄絕了他們。

眾戰車隊長看見約沙法，就都心裡說：“這必是以色列王。”於是都繞過去攻擊他。約沙法呼救，耶和華就幫助他；神又使敵人離開他。

“這子民所稱為陰謀的，你們都不要稱為陰謀；他們所怕的，你們不要怕，也不要畏懼。你們要尊萬軍之耶和華為聖，他是你們當怕的，也是你們當畏懼的。

於是他們在急難中呼求耶和華，他就拯救他們脫離困苦。
