法老命其民曰以色列族生男則溺於河、生女可全其命。

惡人不為不軌、則卧有不安、不使人傾危、則寢有不暇。

越二年、法老夢立於河濱。

耶和華諭摩西曰、當使亞倫展施其杖、擊埃及水、其江河池沼咸變為血、於是血徧通國、木石器皿、無不有血。摩西亞倫遵命、於法老及群臣前、以杖擊河、水咸變血。水臭魚斃、通國有血、此河之水、人不能飲。

其三天使傾鼎於江河、一切源泉、皆變為血、我聞掌水天使云、自昔及今之聖主、鞫人如是、無非大公、彼流先知聖徒之血、今主以血賜飲亦合乎宜、

彼作惡、殺人流血、惟恐不速。

人之憤怒酷烈、勢若行潦、人懷嫉妒、誰能禦之。
