後來，法老命令全埃及的人把以色列人生的所有男嬰都拋進尼羅河裡，只讓女嬰活著。

他用毒計苦害我們的同胞，虐待我們的祖先，強令他們把嬰孩拋棄，不讓嬰孩存活。

「你們在替希伯來婦女接生的時候，如果看到生下的是男嬰，就把他殺掉；如果是女嬰，就讓她活下來。」

祂使仇敵憎恨他們，用詭計虐待他們。

因為他們不作惡就無法入睡，不絆倒人就無法安眠；

兩年後，法老做了個夢，夢見自己站在尼羅河邊，

耶和華對摩西說：「你告訴亞倫，讓他向埃及境內的各江河、溪流、池塘伸杖，使水變成血。埃及境內，包括木桶和石缸裡將到處是血。」摩西和亞倫就按著耶和華所吩咐的去做，亞倫在法老和埃及眾臣僕面前舉杖擊打尼羅河水，河水都變成了血。河裡的魚都死了，河水臭得不能飲用。埃及遍地都是血。

第三位天使將碗倒在了江河與水泉裡，水就變成了血。我聽見掌管各水源的天使說：「昔在今在的聖者啊！你是公義的，因為你施行了審判。由於他們流了眾聖徒和先知們的血，現在你使他們喝血，這正是他們應得的報應。」

因為他們奔向罪惡，急速地去殺人流血。

暴怒固然殘酷，憤恨好比狂瀾，然而嫉妒更是無人能敵。
