我的舌头也必终日讲论你的公义，因为那些谋害我的人已经蒙羞受辱了。

愿那与我为敌的，羞愧灭亡；愿那谋害我的，受辱蒙羞。

万民哪，任凭你们行恶，终必毁灭；远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听！任凭你们束腰，终必毁灭；你们束起腰来，终必毁灭。

他们起行。上帝使周围城镇的人都惊恐，就不追赶雅各的儿子们了。

这十人都是哈米大他的孙子，犹太人的仇敌哈曼的儿子。犹太人却没有下手夺取财物。

对他们说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们了，并且我们也都惧怕你们。这地所有的居民在你们面前都融化了。

因为耶和华的意思是要使他们的心刚硬，来与以色列人作战，好使他们全被杀灭，不蒙怜悯，反被除灭，正如耶和华所吩咐摩西的。

凡你所到的地方，我要使那里的众百姓在你面前惊慌失措，又要使你所有的仇敌转身逃跑。

亚达月十四日，在书珊的犹太人又聚集，在书珊杀了三百人，却没有下手夺取财物。亚达月十三日，在王各省其余的犹太人也都聚集，保护自己的性命，摆脱仇敌得享平安。他们杀了七万五千个恨他们的人，却没有下手夺取财物；十四日他们休息，以这日为设宴欢乐的日子。

但希实本王西宏不肯让我们从他那里经过，因为耶和华—你的上帝使他性情顽梗，内心刚硬，为要把他交在你手中，像今日一样。
