我的舌头也要终日讲述你的公义，因为那些谋求害我的人已经蒙羞受辱了。

愿那些控告我的，都羞愧灭亡；愿那些谋求害我的，都蒙羞受辱。

列国之民啊！你们尽管作恶，但你们终必毁灭！所有在远处的人民啊，要留心听！你们尽管束腰吧，你们终必毁灭！你们尽管束腰吧，你们终必毁灭！

他们出发了，神使周围的城市都非常惧怕，他们就不追赶雅各的儿子。

这十个人就是哈米大他的孙子、哈曼的儿子，犹大人的敌人；至于财物，犹大人却没有下手掠夺。

对他们二人说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们了，你们使我们十分害怕，这地所有的居民都在你们面前胆战心惊。

因为这是出于耶和华的旨意，他使他们心里刚硬，要与以色列人交战，好把他们完全毁灭，使他们不蒙怜悯，却要被消灭，正如耶和华吩咐摩西的。

我必在你面前展露我的威严；凡你所到的地方，我必使那里的人民慌乱，又使你所有的仇敌都转背而逃。

亚达月十四日，在书珊的犹大人又聚集起来，在书珊杀了三百人，却没有下手掠夺他们的财物。在王各省其余的犹大人，也都聚集起来，保护自己的性命，向他们的仇敌报复，杀了恨他们的人共七万五千；至于财物，他们却没有下手掠夺。这是在亚达月十三日的事，十四日他们得享安宁，以这日为设宴欢乐的日子。但在书珊的犹大人在十三、十四日聚集起来杀敌，他们就在十五日休息，以这日为设宴欢乐的日子。

但是希实本王西宏不肯让我们从他那里经过，因为耶和华我们的神使他的心意顽固，使他的心刚硬，为要把他交在你的手里，像今日一样。
